Hi all! As you can tell, I have only been able to get online a couple of times a week at best. We have been so busy here, so I imagine my time until the cruise will go fast! My oldest DS (9) plays football and they are now 6-0!!! Looks like they will be going to the playoffs. Get this. . . we planned our trip knowing that he would miss two games. o.k. - no sweat - afterall, he is not in the pros. Well, a couple weeks ago, we find out that on Oct 30, his team plays at William & Mary Stadium!!!!!!!!! Never done that before, and may never do it again. He is the big man on the team this year, as he is onle of the oldest. We have struggled with this and this is what we came up with: my youngest and I will still drive down on Oct 29, and my DH and oldest will fly down after the game on Sat. Can you believe this! What luck! When we asked him which he would rather do (Sea World on the 30th or play in his game), he replied, "I don't know mom. They are both an opportunity of a lifetime!" He was so good about it, we have added an extra day to our trip and will do Sea World at the end of WDW! I just melted when he said that. He already knows how to work us! Ha!
O.k. I have told everyone that I would take pictures of the Wonder in drydock. However, I am seriously considering not going. This will be our first ever cruise, and I want the boys to have the whole experience of seeing if for the first time at the port. What do you all think? I feel bad, as I said I would get pictures for you all. What would you do? I keep thinking that first glimpse of the ship at port will be magical (I've got tears in my eyes already!).
This has gotten a little lengthy. It was great to see everyone in the newsletter - Ralph thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You put a lot of time into it. Marly, thank you for all your hard work.
Not long now everyone. Let me know what you think about the Wonder in drydock!
