Julie and Tom have reminded me of something. With October right around the corner and some of us getting ready to hit the road soon, I need to stop the TOT list.

SO FOR ANYONE READING THIS, THE TOT FOR THE DISNEY WONDER IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED!!!

Sorry if this affects anyone. It's just some of us have to go ahead and start putting our goodies together for our trip and need to have a cut off number.

So for those of you signed up already, the official number will stand at 27 (including the Mills family)!!!

I'm going to start pulling stuff out to pack today. Hooray!!!

Welcome Julie and Tom! We have a son, Logan. who will turn 9 on the cruise...there seems to be several boys right around that age...that is so great!!

Ralph...I can hardly wait for the Newsletter tomorrow!! Thanks again for taking the time to put it together!

Marley...when you got your docs, was there anything in there about what the Wonder is doing for TOT?? I read something yesterday that said that anyone sailing on the Magic and Wonder on 10/30 and 10/31 would receive info with their docs about Halloween activities onboard...

I am so excited I can hardly stand it!! Between staying at the Poly and then the CRUISE...all I can say is it better hurry up or I think I'll burst with excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my call today from Holiday Inn where we were going to stay the night before. All reservations have been cancelled through mid-November at least. Well, guess it's back to the drawing board to find a new hotel!

But thanks to Marley we're staying at VWL for 2 days after the cruise. We are so excited about that! I think the boys will love it there-so much to do.

Pammy jo, were you planning to stay at the Holiday Inn Express or Ocean Front? I was about to make a res for Ocean Front for the day we return.

We sent our absentee ballots in last weekend.....now we can ignore all political ads!

It was the Holiday Inn Oceanfront. She said it will reopen sometime in mid-Nov.

yes, in the docs you get two Halloween specific items. One is a sheet of Halloween type things you can order for the stateroom. The other is a letter just telling you that there is going to be a costume contest and it list the categories for prizes. It also says other Halloween activities will be onboard but that we would have to look in our personal Navigator. It does list no toy knives, guns, etc. with costumes but the letter encourages you to dress up. Jason is a cowboy and I almost bought him a holster the other day and then realized the toy guns would be a bad idea going through security!!

Anyone else get their docs? My MIL's came yesterday. I just got home from the bank with my Park Hoppers and Birth Certificates. I'm very excited!!

i havent gotten our docs yet i had called and asked them to send them to our address in new mexico where we are working right now ) and guess what?? they got the address wrong! lucky me huh?? I called when i saw that Marley had gotten her docs and they said if they show back up at DCL then they would resend them to us. If for some reason they never show up would someone please scan and email or mail ( if you arent using it ) the stuff you can order for halloween?? or just a list if there arent any pictures i just love stuff!!

Our docs came today as well! They went to the (wrong) work address, but fortunately I know the mail guy! They had the wrong phone number as well. I guess I need to talk to DU to gets things straighten out.

Pammyjo, I think I'm learning toward the Radisson for CC lodging after the cruise. They include free cruise parking, which would save me $40. Let me know where you end up.

Prior to the cruise I went with Holiday Inn Family Suites in Orlando. I went with them today because I figured 1 hr to Port Canaveral isn't bad and the boys would enjoy being close to DW. Maybe we'll even head to DTD for the evening. Tried Radisson at Port Canaveral and they were full or weren't accepting ressies. After the cruise we are staying at VWL for 2 nights. Can't wait for that.

good morning friends and fellow cruisers!! well, its 6 am in new york and I am rushing to get ready for work as usual. paradise awaits in 30 days and I am sure the anticipation is killing me somehow. the long awaited newsletter is out. the good news is I was able to compress the file size so its under 1 mb, actually 51kb, which is pretty small by comparison so everyone should be able to get it. again I assume everyone has powerpoint reader. if you dont I can send it to you. anyway, please enjoy the newsletter, it was alot of fun for me to put together and it seems to me that we a cruising with a really fine group of people. we all come from different walks of life and it was very interesting for me to see the diversity in occupations and interests. I look forward to meeting all of you and since its been a pretty difficult year (on the job) I am looking forward to the 10 day disney vacation. I have never taken 10 days offs before and it comes at a good time. anyway, I digress, please feel free to let me know what you think and if you dont get the newsletter, dont sweat it, just drop me a email at acrucifer@aol.com respectfully, Ralph.

well, I can see the email of the newsletter went well. most if not all who received it cannot open it. I suspect it might be a software compatibility issue. anyway, I am going to uncompress the file and re send it this evening to everyone. I think compressing the file has caused the problem. its going to be 8.6MB when you receive it. kellie and jay, I am going to send you another compressed version so you will be abe to receive it. I apologize for the difficulty you are having. I emailed it to myself at an alternate email account and had no problem opening it, but since I built it on the same computer, it wasnt really a valid test good test.

Anyone ordering gift baskets from the Perfect Gift? I have a call into Shirley. I wasn't too thrilled with what Disney was offering for the special Halloween baskets and was going to ask Shirley what she might be able to do.

Bauderbandt....I am ordering a birthday basket for Logan from Shirley. I talked to her on the phone a couple of weeks ago, and she went over all kinds of stuff that is available...she is very nice and extremely helpful! She told me to call back and order 2-3 weeks before the cruise. I am sure she would have some Halloween stuff available too.

I got an e-mail from my cruise company saying that they mailed my docs yesterday...so hopefully on Mon. or Tues. I"LL be doin' the doc dance!!

Hi all! We got our docs!!!! Well, they are not in my hand right now, but they are in my TA's hands. We will get them on Mon. I don't think I can stand going through the weekend knowing they are so close!

It sounds as if there are several 9 yr old boys onboard. They should have a great time.

Ralph, This is barbara's gorgoues, handsome lovab.........DH.
I tried to unpack the letter but found that we would need 'packngo' to do it. For some reason packngo doesn't come with power point. I looked for it to download, but with a limited amount of time I thought maybe you could use 'winzip' instead. I would imagine most of us would be more familiar with winzip. Don't know if it will zip the program small as packngo but thought it would be an option. Hope you get this in time to try.
