Early registration for Princess Half Marathon for DVC members

I am kicking myself for waiting till last day of early registration... has anyone experienced problems registering through the DVCmember webpage or know of another link? I clicked the link there and it takes me to the runDisney web page with an error message referring me back to the DVCmember webpage, thus creating an infinite loop. I am actually in Asia right now and 1-800 U.S. numbers don't work here... if anyone has a DVC or runDisney contact number with a regular area code, I'd be so grateful.

I thought I heard the early registration had filled up. I believe you'll have to wait for the regular registration.

I had problems even the 1st day exactly at registration time thru the rundisney website..i have an annual pass. .even called where they told me if no link on rundisney then its filled..i got frustrated..googled it and found it through there..

I registered for 5k for myself (1st ever and after major back surgery) & breakfasts for hubby and me after..

Lmk if you still cant find link and ill try..

Thanks everyone. I did call and spoke with someone at Member Services. She confirmed that early registration spots had already sold out a couple of days ago which is why I couldn't get any links to work. I asked her if she could give feedback to the right department in Disney that for the future, they should consider inserting "Early registration spots are limited and can sell out prior to the end of early registration." Without this language, I was under the impression I can register anytime during the two-week early registration period since it was touted as an advantage for DVC members prior to open registration for the general public. That way, DVC members are forewarned. My second feedback to her is to simply post on both the DVC member website and the runDisney/DVC website if the the event has already sold out. This way, we all know and won't have to waste time looping back and forth on a merry ride through both websites and avoid the frustration of figuring what links work or don't work. Will see if they will consider such feedback for the future.

Again I appreciate all the help here... you guys are the best! I will try my luck at open registration tonight at midnight local time here.

Just to speak to your second point, they did have the sold out races clearly marked as such for the past two weeks on the RunDisney website.

I really hope you get in tomorrow! Lots more spots than for early registration up for grabs anyway .

Yesterday they provided a link to the DVC member website after this error message, but it looks like today the link has been removed. I was just frustrated that they could have added "Sorry, all early registration spots have been sold out. Please try open registration on xyz date" and saved me time trying to figure out where the mystical registration link could be.

We did a mother-daughter 10K at the Disneyland Tink event earlier this year and my daughter is hooked, so we're doing our own coast-to-coast version, this time trying for the half-marathon!

I think you were on the right page if you went to your member page- Special Offers- Early Registration for RunDisney events- Princess HM. I'm assuming all were sold out and regular registration starts today so it was just a question of you looking too late . The links that took you to Active.com and showing that they were sold out were up on that page since June 30.

Don't forget to join the PHM thread when you get in today! Just make sure you have an Active.com account to do it quickly. I'm signed up for Glass Slipper Challenge and am very excited, I've never done a Disney event before!

Oh wow, they were all sold on first day (June 30) of early registration already? Good to know for next time. The DVCmember lady I spoke to told me that early registration was sold out 3 days ago--I guess they need to get their facts straight!

I will check out the thread you recommended and thanks for the reminder to make sure our active.com accounts are all ready to go! I will need to open two browser windows since DD is a minor and she will be in camp.

I don't think they did. Not on rundisney. They didn't have anything about the percentages at all during early reg.

NO. Some races were, but not all. They only changed it a few days ago, just like you found out.

They didn't have the percentages, they just said SOLD OUT after them!
