early peek at ssr?

I know SSR doesn't officially open until 5/17, but does anyone know if it will be possible to get an early peek at it during our trip on 5/9-14? would love to see it before we leave. thanks.

I was thinking of doing that a couple of weeks ago and drove up to the entrance then got a bit scared and backed out!.
