Early Morning Magic?

To each their own, but I don't really want to deal with a rental car, let alone driving anywhere once I leave my car at the airport. They don't need to trap me on property, I'm fine with it. Universal and Sea World are nice, but The Bubble makes the whole vacation totally seamless.
No I'm agreeing with you. We don't rent a car or go off property but what I am saying is that's what Disney wants. Magical express was made because they don't want guests leaving property they want everyone staying in the bubble.

But what's interesting is we still fill in deluxe cash stays here and there.

Can be a points shortage from treating family/friends to bigger rooms, or availability problems on shorter notice.

So while its crazy not to take advantage of DVC for us-if it didn't exist we would be paying deluxe prices and be working/budgeting for it.
Everyone has a different income. Yours allows you to do those things. My families doesn't.

You do realize ME is optional correct? Your statement comes across as you are indeed being tricked into and ya aint smart nuff to even no it.
Yes I'm just pointing out Disneys thinking. I use ME myself. Disney developed the whole magical express luggage thing so people are less likely to leave property. If you don't have a car while staying on property you are less likely to leave to go to somewhere else because it's more work or money to do so.

Yep and go one further.

You check into the BW on cash for 5 nights or $2,500 ($450 plus tax) as many people do.

Or I bought 50 points for 5 nights EVERY year for $2,600 ($100 more) the first year, then $250 a year after that (50 points at $5 dues) for 5 nights every year at $50 a night instead of $450.

Initial investment-the same as one stay.

Plus the $2,600 has gone up almost $10 a point in the 5 years to about $5,000.

A little more complex than "$150/night". Seems your post agrees! Thanks for the detail.

Actually only partially true IMO.

We have rented a car because of certain activities for certain trips.

If we have a Clearwater stayover, UNI actually 2 days once, and the Citrus Bowl or once a Spring Training game in Ft Meyers we have rented a car.

But we still used ME because the bags show up in our room. Its just easier. Then we also checked out on our last day and sent the bags home on ME and then drove to MCO.

Otherwise we usually cab over to UNI during our stay.

ME didn't at all keep us on property those trips. At least for parts of our stay.

Now what does keep on property is FP+ and WDW night shows and DVC.

Coming back even from UNI we always hit either DHS or MK for 3 FP+ and either Fantasmic and Star Wars Fireworks or Wishes CTM and parade. Then walk over to BLT or BWV or BCV depending where we are at.

I am not saying it 100% keeps you on property. I said you are more likely to stay on property rather than venturing off. We are also no the targets of this. We here are mainly WDW veterans who have our own routines. I am specifically stating what Disney's intentions are with Magical Express. It was developed to keep you on property. You and I may do different things but that is because we have been many times and we have our own routines.

Agreed 100%.

But you asked why "I" go to WDW if you remember.

I outlined ME is one reason and why.

You counter with "its been around a while and meant to keep me on property"-which is beyond irrelevant (as you just finally pointed out above) but another attempt to diminish an excellent offering from WDW.

Would it possible to say "yes I can see why that is an excellent offering for you from WDW that makes your trips much more efficient, relaxing and stress free"?

You and I are what I would consider Disney veterans. I haven't been giving my point of view but rather the WDW business side or maybe the devils advocate side. While it works for you and me, it may not work for others. I have just been trying to bring in a different side to things.

So if I sell today which I can-I get the investment back of $2,600, all the dues back of $1,250, and a check for $1,250. All for staying at BWV for 25 nights. Although I did get suckered into ME apparently.

You can stay 5 nights on 50 points?

ETA: On a Sun-Thurs, certain seasons you sure can. Good to know. Might need to look through some of these resales.

EETA: Found some around $5800 with 50 points. You definitely did great to buy those when you did. I'll definitely entertain something like that. Who knew my sarcasm would pay off one day?

HaHa, yea it was pretty low about 5 years ago. Like I say-worst mistake was just not buying more.

Wow it has gone up. A smaller BWV is now $120 as is BCV-still going to keep them though. Bought BLT new direct for I think $96 and its finally trending to $125.

But even today you can get Vero Beach for $50 a point. Just cant reserve at WDW until 7 months out but still.

I wonder if anyone actually uses Vero for Vero? lol

No kidding.

Geez you really made my day.

Wake up to another 20% increase in an investment in about 6 months maybe a year, and also its to stay in Disney World Deluxe Resorts on top of that. pixiedust:

Now lets not tell anybody about these small contracts out of Vero. Until after I buy, then we can let everyone know.
