Early Morning Magic?

They answered my questions on the BLOG:
1.
I’m interested in understanding how this will impact guests with existing early dining plans at Be Our Guest, the Castle, and Crystal Palace. We have an 8:05 AM reservation booked months ago, for a day that is now available for the Early Morning Magic guests. We’ve already pre-ordered our breakfasts, and are looking forward to it. But what will happen when we finish dining? Will we be allowed out of the restaurants, or held in a queue somewhere until rope drop?

  • Yes, you will be allowed out of the restaurant.

Breakfast guests will be treated the same as they are today – you will be directed to a queue after breakfast to wait until the park opens. (For example, if a group finishes dining at Be Our Guest and wants to visit Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, they are queued outside the attraction until park opens and then are allowed to enter).

and 2, will there be discounts (AP or VISA)? answer, no.

So, We'll be keeping our BOG ADR and wait patiently after our breakfast to hit the rides at 9:00am.

Thanks, everyone!
thank you. I had the same question for our early morning breakfast at BOG in August. Unfortunately it falls on a Tuesday; same as this new very expensive option. LOL.

Just wanted to check in and report our experience at EMM last week. Like most folks, I'm sure, SDMT was the selling point on this event for us. However, when we arrived on 5/31, the ride was down with no promises that it would even open during EMM. Small world was operating in its place. (Hardly a fair trade off, IMO!!!) We were told that our event wristbands would allow us unlimited access to SDMT via the FP line until noon, but as we had other plans due the morning, that didn't help our family, personally. Nor does the FP line offer the speed of "continuous riding" that others attending the event have reported. We checked back at 8:30 and it was operating, so we did manage to get in a few rides before the event ended, but seemed like everyone else was trying to do the same thing by that point, so we were definitely waiting. The food was excellent and there were definitely a limited number of people in attendance, but the main attraction being down for half of the limited time event definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. This is the first "up charge" event we've done at Disney that I felt I didn't get my money's worth (and we've done plenty!).
The same happened to us the week before, but we didn't mind so much. They opened Small World and the carousel, too.
They gave us 3 anytime, any ride Fastpasses, plus our wristbands worked as a FP+ until noon on the 7dmt. The 7dmt ride came back online about 8:20, giving most of us in our group plenty of time to ride our fill of it before the event ended. A couple of the little guys kept on riding using their wristbands as a Fastpass till noon and logged 11 trips in total. They were thrilled.

We grabbed a quick breakfast (rolls, juice, yogurt, coffee) at 8:15 and we pigged out at the full buffet at 9:40. When we finally left Pinocchio Haus, the CMs loaded us down with bottles and bottles of water & juice. It was great. Plus we each had 3 additional any ride Fastpasses to use later as the park became crowded.

I'm sorry if this was answered already. Any ideas if this will be extended/continued into the winter season? We are going in January.

Thanks.
