Early March crowds and weather?

Does anyone have an idea of what the crowds and weather are like in early March? My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2004 (sorry- I really tend to plan VERY early!) and I would love to go to WDW for that special anniversary! Thanks - and..... any ideas of what to do for the special occasion?

The park crowds are normally down in the beginning of March. The park will start to pick back up in the middle of the month for the spring break. The weather will still be in the unpredictable stage. Highs - 70 low - 40.

In the 4 trips we've taken in the first week of March we've found moderate crowds, no problem if you take advantage of EE and FastPass. Check the link below for historical weather data. We've never had a morning low under 49 degrees with many days topping 80. Never needed long pants or a jacket during the day.
We're also planning a 2/27 - 3/7 2004 trip, so you're not the only early bird.

Thanks for the quick replys! Our anniversary falls on the 8th- so it sounds like the crowds and weather will be to our liking! I'm really looking forward to going in MArch now. We were at WDW March 3-6, 2002, and the crowds were moderate. A little more crowded than we are used to, but very managable.

But, when we were there it was cold!!!! Be prepared for any kind of weather, from the 80s to the 30-40s. When we were there in March 2002, we were lucky if it hit 60. My typical outfit consisted of long pants or jeans, a t-shirt, a long sleeve shirt or sweater/sweatshirt, and a light jacket. DH can wear shorts in almost any weather, and even he found himslef in long pants and layers.

Well, thanks again everyone- I guess I'll go expecting the unexpected! And Bill from PA- that is a great site to have - I'll be relying on that for more then one trip I'm sure!
