Early June or Mid-Late July?

Planning out our 3rd trip to DW for 2016. Our first two trips we went the first or second week in June. I'd consider the crowds as big, but tolerable. The weather has been hit or miss. Our last trip in 2013 there was a lot of rain. Was wondering if anyone had gone in both early June and Mid to Late July and if there was much of a difference in crowds and weather? Crowd calendars for this year seem to point to mid-late July as being less crowded than early June.

Any input would be appreciated!

EDIT: Oy, just looked at my counter in my sig and got depressed. IT'S BEEN TOO LONG! :D

We typically always go in June or July. I would suggest early June as the best option over July simply for the fact of crowds. We we are, a lot of schools are still in up to the 2nd week in July, so that means less are on vacation. Also, July is or at least in the past, has been prime time for all the touring groups to be in Disney. Nothing like heading to a line and have a group of 50 people walk in right in front of you.

Good call on the groups. That might tilt the scales back to June. :D

We were at WDW last from 5/31-6/8. Crowds were in the 6-8 range, what I consider moderate - busy at peak times, but not crazy by any means. We have been enough times that we know when to be in the parks and when it is time to head back to the resort for pool (and pool bar) time.

The weather then was warm - it touched 90 a couple afternoons towards the end, but without the bad humidity setting in yet, and it made the pool feel even better. Mornings and evenings were still very pleasant. Crowds did pick up a tick towards the end.

For summer visits, I would pick the first two weeks in June before the higher crowds and higher heat and humidity settle in.

Have a great trip!

The heat and tour groups made our mid-July trip difficult. We still had a great trip, but I will avoid July at all costs.

Been in June, July, and August. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference in crowds or heat. With all the asphalt, it's just plain hot.
