I s the following doable? Is it sound?

Background: We are there 3 full days and a half day. Hard Rock therefore Express Passes and Early Admission. Dates: March 5 to 9.

First full Day is March 6. I'd like to get the stress of getting Forbidden journey and Grigotts out of the way.
So if Island of Adventure has an early admission:
Be at gate 45 minutes before opening.
Go Straight to Forbidden Journey
Go to Hogwort's Express and get in-line
Go straight to Gringotts
Take a breath.

Is this doable? Will the train arrive before the crowds come from the Entrance of Universal?
I assume it's not the right plan if both parks have early admission?
If so, I would do Forbidden Journey one day and Gringotts the second day?

I feel if I can get those two done, I can rely on my express pass for most of everything else.

Any advice, would be appreciated.

The problem is the train. It is not a given that the train will arrive before the crowds at Universal Studios IF IOA has the early entry. One time I was there the train was open about a half hour before the Studios side opened. The other time it didn't open until 10 minutes before Studios open.

Again if both sides have early opening it's a mute point

I was hoping to do this exact same thing - we will be there 2 days, and I was hoping to take advantage of EE both days. My plan was to do EE at IOA (I assume) the first day, and then stay at IOA that day, and then do EE at IOA the second day but ride the train over to USF/Diagon Alley the second day in time to be relatively close to front of the line for Gringotts. Would love to hear others' experiences!

We went at end of June last year. If line was too long for either FJ or Gringotts, we just went back at night and/or used single rider line. We rode both multiple times that way and it was awesome.

That's what we plan to do in May. Have read that nighttime may have shorter lines. Looking FORWARD to it!:cool1:
