Early flight and ME

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had an early flight out of Orlando and had used the magical express. I am considering a 7:55 a.m. flight home and was wondering what time I would have to catch the ME. I know from the past that they typically make your ME time about 3 hours before your flight and I was wondering what time they would have us leave for a flight that early. Thanks for any input.

They will still set your pick up time for 3 hours before your flight. And you still need to be there 15 minutes before, so that you don't miss your bus if it shows early. I forgot to tell my dad that, and he almost missed his crack of dawn bus ride back to the airport. He got to the stop just as the bus was getting ready to leave.

You will need to be at the bus stop no later than 4:40 a.m.

For a 7:55am flight, you will be given a pickup time of around 5am..give or take 15 mins either way. You won't be able to check your bags and get boarding passes at the RAC counter at this time of day. So, you and all your bags will need to be out at the DME bus stop no less than 15 mins before the stated pickup time. Don't dilly dally...the bus will not wait for you.

Thanks everyone. You all reaffirmed what I kinda already thought. My real problem is that we are going from Sept. 17th -24th. I already have our flight booked and it is not until 3:45 or so which is a great time except that our 14 year old just got her school calendar and the week we are going to be gone is Homecoming week. She would like to be home in time for the dance (24th). I have tried every which way to work it out for us to be here and it seems like we have 2 options, either we stay with the original flight and, barring no problems, she gets to the dance a little late OR she and I switch our flight to 7:55 am(the only flight that works out to get us home earlier). What to do...

As a mother of multiple teenagers, if this was my family I would keep my original flight plans and have her miss the dance this year. At 14 she will have other homecoming dances she can attend.
