I have planned a 2 day trip to Anaheim in a couple of weeks and will be staying at the Hojo's across the street from Disneyland. It's listed as one of the "Good Neighbor" hotels.

How far of a walk is it to the gates?

Is there a shuttle bus from the hotel to the gates?

Do they do early entry at Disneyland? If so, is it just for official Disney hotels or does that include the good neighbor hotels as well?

Is there a discount (AAA) for 2 day park hopper passes?

Approx. 10 minutes.

The ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) is available if you don't want to walk for a small fee ($4.00 a day, I think)

Magical Mornings (used to be called EE) is offered to those staying at the resort hotels and those who have purchased 3+ day parkhoppers. So if you are only using a 2 day hopper, you would not get MM.

Not at the gates, but check out your local AAA office to see if they offer 2-day hoppers at a discount. Otherwise, make sure you purchase your tickets ahead of time on disneyland.com to save a few dollars and print out your e-tickets at home so you don't have to wait at the ticket booths at the parks.

Here’s a link to the HoJo Shortcut: www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=88663

When you walk from the HoJo to DL, you cross South Harbor Blvd at Manchester Ave. The HoJo Shortcut will save you a little walking. :thumbsup2

The above link is from Alex Stroup’s article at MP, “How Far Is It?”:

You can get a 2 day park hopper at HOJO's if you are staying there. In June I paid 132 for my husbands' ticket. You can ride the Art bus to Disney --It is the first stop after you get on at HOJO, so going back you are gonna be the last stop. It goes very fast and runs about every 20 mins. Drivers do take a break between I think it is 1 pm and 2 pm ( or maybe it was noon - 1pm). You will not get an early entrance with the 2 day hopper pass the MM comes with 3 day or more hoppers. Have a wonderful time.

Any possibility you can make it a 3-day trip? Really, it will be so much more relaxed if you can, and then you'll get a Magic Morning and can take advantage of that wonderful first hour of relatively short lines.

Have you read Hydroguy's tips thread? Lots of good ideas there for maximizing your fun during your trip: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1520483

Have fun! :goodvibes

Thanks everyone for your info.

As far as staying longer, I am going to San Diego for the holidays, so it's just 2 days I can spare for this trip.

Can you afford to get the 3 day pass and just use 2 days? Then you will get that MM? Just a thought...

I had been thinking about doing this since it'll be busy after Christmas. Do you know what days are the MM?

Thanks!
