Hi everyone
I am a little confused about the early entry offer at IOA and Universal and I know that some of you have done this so I was hoping you could help
We are staying on-site in November
Do you get early entry to IOA and Universal or is it just IOA and more specifically just Harry Potter?
Also how early can you get in? Is it one hour before or less?
Finally as we have booked our park tickets through Virgin they also offer early entry for one day but reading the small print it looks like it's one hour before regular opening but the first 30 mins is in a welcome meeting/breakfast so you end up being 30 mins ahead of the crowd instead of an hour
Hope this waffle makes sense ?
Thanks
Linda

Early entry for onsite guests is for Islands of Adventure only. More specifically, it's for WWOHP only. The other attractions and rides will not open until normal park opening time.

When we were there in August, early entry was officially 1 hour before opening (opening was 9 am), although I think they were letting people into the park before 8am. We didn't actually make it to the park before 8 though so I'm not sure whether guests were allowed into WWOHP before 8 or amde to wait :confused3

Sorry, not sure about the answer to the Virgin tickets question.

Hi Linda!

Like Joh, we didn't bother with the early access as it was very quiet (plus we're not early risers anyway :rolleyes1). Sorry, I don't know about the Virgin thing either.

I didn't know you were going in November. Where's your ticker?! :rotfl:

From what I understand, if you are staying on-site, youn entitled to the EE for Harry Potter every morning of your stay. We have never attended any welcome meetings in Florida - sounds like a ploy just to get you to go to the meeting to me - maybe that's just me being cynical again.

We were there in August staying at Hard Rock Hotel. we went to IOA on our 1st morning. Opening to the public at 9am we got in for 8am. They were only allowing hotel guests past roped off areas when showing your room key. It was only for WWOHP area.
