Early-Early Roll call.... 4-28-07 Eastern

Thanks for the changes! I will update the list as more changes come in!! Keep the changes/updates coming!!

Floridagram....remember that just because your name is on the ressie for a specific room, you don't have to stay in that room!! Especially because you have so many rooms!!

I have to tell you that as much as you prepare and try to learn names or info about each DIS'er before we board, you get on board and shock takes over! I was so embarrassed last year because I felt like I knew so much about everyone before boarding and at our "meet-up", I almost seemed like I had amnesia! I couldn't remember anything about anyone because I was in shock and excitement from the minute I reached the terminal! Just forwarning you that it may happen to you!!!:rotfl:

I didn't have enough room to try to add where people were staying before the cruise but if you are heading in 1 or 2 nights ahead of time, where are you staying?

Also, for those of you who are staying at WDW, is it possible to pay for the hotels there or do you have to be a Disney Vacation Club person? There's several resorts to choose from and I'm trying to figure out if we should head in a few days before and stay at Ron Jon (which we loved last year) or go earlier and hit 2 days at WDW (I have a 4.3 yr old and a 20 month old so that's a lot for the little ones and then on the cruise). What do ya'll think?

If heading in a few days before, we like Ron Jon but they are very expensive because they only have 2 bedrooms (so I have a ressie but can cancel it). I've heard about Radisson & Residence Inn but I need to be somewhere where we can make a mini vacation out of it and that's where Ron Jon comes in handy!

Thanks!
Kym

The list looks great. Looks like we have an awesome crew going.

Floridagram it see that you are visiting Canada very soon. You may want to stay in the sunny warmth of Florida. Canada is just too cold right now. Ha Ha.

We are expecting snow again tonight! My DH is getting tired of shovelling. But he is really happy to be able to ride his snowmobile!

The count-down is on! Can't wait.

I can't wait to meet everyone, but I expect the excitement will overwhelm me! I usually cry when I walk down Main St. in Disney World(every time we go!) It embarrasses the kids to death. Lots of times I sing and dance in the street.

So....if you see a lunatic mom singing and dancing in the terminal, come on over and say hello!

Hi julia & nicks mom! I was curious if you got my PM last week. I looked under my user CP but it doesn't show that it was received. It shows that it was sent though. Just checking....maybe it could be out there in cyberspace somewhere! If you didn't get it, I'll try to resend it! Thanks!!

Oh my goodness....you are in trouble!! Prepare your kids NOW!! When you walk through the yellow Mickey Mouse Ears leading to the ship, I guarantee you that your eyes will be full of water:sad: from excitement!! :jumping1: I could hardly contain myself (carrying a 9 month old with tears of joy)! And then..........you walk onto the ship and WOW....that's all I can say! They announce your name and it is a moment that you will remember forever! :welcome:

To stay on property you do not have to be a disney vacation club member. Just go to disneyworld.com and put in your dates on the main page. You can choose "room only" or "vacation package" which includes tickets. There are lots of resorts to choose from in a wide range of prices! Visit the Disney Resorts board here on the Disboards to learn more about each resort!!

Kym, I figured that we would just do that but I think we need to tell them to get the key cards billed to the right credit card. Right?

My life has dramatically changed in the last 24 hours. Can you believe I am going on another cruise leaving this Sunday? I will be on HAL on the Westerdam to Aruba, Curaco and Half Moon Cay, which rivals DCL for the best island I hear. My aunts friend backed out at the last minute so I get to go in her place. I can hardly believe it! So I will not be here for 8 days, we are driving down a day early, if you guys decide on making door magnets alike please count me in. thanks!

Hi Kym,

What a great sailing list you put together! You are correct on all our info. My name is Emily and my husband's is Mike. Do we have enough people for some sort of meet? Or should we just do our best to wear lime green most of the days?! :yay:
65 Days!

Floridagram! Wow! How exciting! Have a great time....that's quite a trip! We'll still be here when you get back....unfortunately time can't go that quickly!

Have a great trip!

Where's everyone staying before the cruise?

Our original plan was one night at Wilderness Lodge(4/21), then move over to Boardwalk Villas(4/22-4/28). Yesterday the Annual Passholder rates came out, so we are now spending our first night at the Contemporary (tower MK view). It was very little difference to make the change because they didn't offer an AP discount for Wilderness for our day!

It looks like there are at least a couple of us going to WDW prior. Has anybody else decided yet?

Where's everyone staying before the cruise?

Flying in the day before from California, leaving at 11am PST and getting into Florida at 11pm EST and staying near MCO at the Hilton Gardens Inn hotel. Hoping we can sleep with such an exciting next day ahead of us!

We are not arriving till day of cruise:sad1: Has anyone ever had Disney arrange their airfare? My mom booked this trip and Disney is handling everything. I have no idea when we will get our flight times arrival times, etc. If you have any info, i'd appreciate a heads up!

i have gotten your pms - but things are a little crazy here - I hope to sit down this week and work on everyones stuff

Thanks julia & nicks mom! I'm still trying to figure out the layers on Photoshop because I know that you are swamped! My main question was about printing some of the designs (the auto book)! Hopefully that will lighten your load!!

THanks!
Kym

great list Faith&Hope. my husband's cousin had to cancel his cruise so there's only DD14, DD9, friends DD9 and DD7.
the kikisprnt is actually my oldest daughter. she had started posting and then got a little busy with high school:teacher:
all the kids i'm travelling with are so excited:cheer2:
we've already booked our excursions. we are going to rent a car on St Thomas and do our own thing...should be interesting!
looking forward to hopefully meeting some of you on the cruise.
i almost forgot, we're in rooms 7018 & 7016.

Where's everyone staying before the cruise?

Port Orleans Riverside. Somehow managed to get a rate of £49 per night (approx $92) through the UK Disney website. For a King Room too! :cool1:

No idea how we got this rate, didn't have codes or anything. Current price on the UK website is £98/night (approx $184), which is still cheaper than $208 on the US Disney site.

Tigger137

We're staying at POR too! We arrive on April 20 and then are taking the DCL transfers on the 28th.

We are a family of 5 - 3 boys 11,8,5. What is your family composed of?
