Early check-in/seating at CRT?

I was hoping for the 8:05 CRT reservation but could only get an 8:20. Not a huge deal in the scheme of things but wondering if we will be able to get into the parks 7:50-8ish and check in early to CRT. As we won't be waiting for another table to finish, I'm hoping they will be able to seat us a little early. Has anyone had luck with this?

It isn't just that you are waiting for a table to clear. They need to stagger seating so that the servers can manage their workload and take care of all guests in a timely manner.
For an 8:20 ADR you will most likely be admitted 15 or so minutes ahead of your ADR. If you check in early you may or may not be seated early.

When the park opens, CRT isn't terribly concerned about the exact time of your reservation - whether it's 0805, 0810, or 0820, maybe even 0830 - they just want to get the restaurant up and flowing. So definitely get there and check in as soon as you can and there's a fair chance you'll be seated early.
Same is true for Crystal Palace.
This works both ways - if you have an 0805, don't assume you have priority over those with later reservations. Get there early and get checked in.
