EARLY CHECK IN: December 15th, 2007 - Seven night Western - 12/15/07

I started thinking about our door magnet.

Here's one I've come up with:

All because of a really bad joke of getting drunk with Goofy...

(I promise you, we will behave, at least during the day or when there are children around)

That is a cute sign. Don't worry about being too well behaved at least around my kids. When we go to my brother's house to visit we always do margarita game night. It can get pretty funny. :)

Sounds like a good excuse to me. :)
I don't remember seeing you on this thread before. Did I just miss it or is this your first posting here? Either way, Welcome! Stacie (DutchGirlScout) has a website started for this cruise. She has a list of who is going. I am not sure if it is still up to date or not though. I think it is probably pretty close though.

I've been off the boards for awhile..it was my first post. So thanks for the welcome. By chance do you have a link to Stacie's website, I tried a search with no luck :confused3

If you go to the first post in this thread, it has Stacies email address and the info to send her for the website. We didn't want the website out for everyone to see, just the people going. So, she is sending the link to people after they sign up.

We are going on the cruise. This is our first cruise. Hubbie, myself, and two kids (daughter:9, and son: 2). Can someone give me an idea what to expect especially with a toddler.

Thanks,

With a toddler? Probably the one thing I would prepare myself for is the loud flushing toliets...scared my 3yoa the first time we cruised and was afraid to use it again. :scared1:

Luckily, it was a minor little setback and he got over it pretty quickly but wish I would have known about it before hand and was able to give him a little advance warning. :)

That might have scared me too!
Thanks for the info!

Hi everyone! Things have been hectic here...sorry for not keeping up to date. I have a dilema. My friend was getting married in July on '08. She asked me to be her honor-attending...basically her maid-of-honor. I just got off the phone with her. She changed the date of the wedding. To what you may ask? Oh....December 14th, 2007. Yeah. I was origianlly planning on getting to PC on the 14th, just in case anything happened.

I really can't miss this wedding. She's one of my dearest friends. So, the only option is for me to fly in to MCO on the 15th, leaving either San Antonio or Austin at 6 AM (ewewewewewew :scared1: ) and getting into Orlando around 11:15 AM. Do you think that will be enough time to get to the terminal? I didn't buy any transfers from the airport, and (stupid on my part) didn't get any insurance. Should I go with a transfer or an shuttle company? What can y'all suggest on insurance. My dad said something about our insurance company (USAA) already having something for travel built in.

My parents are still probably going to fly in the day before (Mom from Texas, Dad from Germany) and stay in Port Canaveral the night before. This way, at least they will be on the boat. If worse comes to worse, I can meet y'all in Key West the next day.

So....any suggestions?

P.S. unixadm: So sorry you won't be able to join us! I can understand about taking the kids out for school. My parents never did that for us. 5 days is alot of time out of school. Hope you have a great time at SSR and US!

It's only a hour or so from the airport so I think you can easily make it. Of course that doesn't take into account any delays the airline may have though. I'm pretty sure we don't sail till 5pm so you've got a bit of extra time to play with.

For transportation to the port you might want to try FL tours http://www.fltours.com/

Not sure about your insurance question but I just had my agent look at disneys insurance and try to get a better price for us. In his opinion, the preminum and coverage with disney was pretty good, so we;re going with them

WOW, only 4 more months!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

We decided to upgrade to a cat 6 the other day. We never thought we would do that, but decided to splurge on ourselves. It has been a stressful year. :worried:

We used Dreams Unlimited this time to book our trip so I contacted them about upgrading. When the email came back it was signed Kelsie Johnson. I did a doubletake because I know a Kelsie Johnson here in town and I was pretty sure she was a travel agent. It turns out it is the same person. :) It's a small world. My travel agent I get from the disboards ends up being a fellow girl scout leader in our unit. And she said that she has stayed in the room that we are upgrading to and it is a great room. :woohoo:
