EARLY CHECK IN: December 15th, 2007 - Seven night Western - 12/15/07

We all surrvived the swim meet yesterday. Andy was very good of course. Even thogh I wanted to call every 5 minutes, I waited 3 hours. I had brought him at 7:30 and picked him up at 1:30 and brought him home to DH. I got home around 5:30. Needless to say I didn't put him dowm much last night.

Melissa--Congrats on paying off the cruise. We save all of our change, never use any, we only pay with bills. Since last December we've saved $1,400 to use towards our March cruise/WDW stay. We're also getting double shipboard credit because we have two rooms. I ordered my Disney Visa rewards card the other day.

So, I guess I already got all my spending money because my friend decided to join me on the cruise so that brings the cost for me down $700.

Melissa--Bringing a friend should save you lots of $$$.

Cristi and Sharon--We found with our other house that once we started remodeling/redecorating it was REALLY hard to stop.

Andy got weighed yesterday and he's up to 10 lbs 7 oz. That's still the in the 10th percentile but his Dr. thought we were making progress. I tried Andy's swim trunks and some of his shorts on him and they're all too big, so I guess we'll have to go shopping in the next two weeks. He'll be all set for summer though.

It is cold, cold, cold here. Even too cold to snow.

Susan--When does your DD have her next break? Is it around spring break/baby time? I wasn't sure with year-round school how they did that. Hope everything is continuing to go good.

hey everyone, i am sorry to say that we are not going to be cruising this december with all of you, we have decided to do the eastbound repo cruise next year, we figured it is a once in a lifetime chance. it was nice to know all of you and enjoy your cruise...

I was toying with that idea but meh...I dont think I could get my fiance onto a ship for that long.

Yearbook50...that's great that you've paid off your cruise. With a friend going and 10+ months, you've got plenty of time to save spending money.

Stacie...so glad Andrew has gained some weight. How is getting up at 5:00 going? DD is tracked out March 19. Baby is due March 13. I'm hoping for a few days earlier for the baby so we'll have some time together while DD is in school. They've missed 2 days for snow that will have to be made up during that track out. Not sure if it will be the beginning or end.

Tiggerandpooh, sorry you won't be joining us, but the repo sounds great. If the kids weren't in school for the whole time, I would have probably been on board with you.

Stacie, that is great that Andy has gained. I wouldn't worry about the percentile as long is he is getting bigger. My kids were never even on the charts. I think Rachel was probably 4 before she even hit the 5th percentile for height and weight. I think Jacob did hit about the 15th percentile for weight when he was around 1. When we went in for his last appointment I think he finally was on the charts for his height. They come from short genes.

The remodeling work is hard to stop. We did a lot when we first moved in, stripping wall paper, painting, building a shed, repouring the back porch, fixing the fence, replacing windows. Then we stopped for a little bit. Now we are back into it. First the tile in the entryway and now the master bath. I did get to shower in there for the first time yesterday. We haven't done the floor yet, but will probably get to that in about a month or so, it depends on whether or not DH takes a class this time.

It is -4 here this morning. Trying to stay warm with my coffee Dreaming about the beach.

The beach looks great!!!! I haven't even checked the temp this morning, all I know is it's cold. I don't plan on going anywhere today.

Susan--I guess I didn't tell you guys that I've been cheating. I got him up at 5:00 those first two days after his appointment and then I called the Dr. back and asked about giving him a little bit of formula. So we're not getting up early anymore, and he is getting bottles that are 3oz formula and 2oz milk. I'm not a morning person and neither is he, I could barely get him to stay awake and drink the bottle. Hopefully baby comes on time so you have a few days, she will be such a help though.

Cristi--DS was always off the charts. He hardly gained weight between 3-6yo he just got taller. DD was always at the top of the charts too.

PoohandTigger--The EB Repo does sound like a great opportunity. The pictures I've seen posted from other people look spectacular.

DS is at a jazz band thing, DD is cleaning her room (scary!) and Andy is sleeping on my lap. We might go shopping later today for clothes for our March cruise, that will be a good way to forget how cold it is outside.

My weekend is packed...Its initiation for my sorority tomorrow and since I have a sister-daughter I have a ton to get ready for, including making a speech at the luncheon afterwards.

I need lots of pixie dust. Beth's father lost his job, his last day is March 31. Beth doesn't work & depends on her dad. Sharon & Beth may not be going on the cruise. I have until September 30 to cancel. Just as I'm getting used to this shock he tells me the other day he may move to Florida, still don't know if girls are going on cruise. I have help raise Sharon Samantha,her father isn't in her life at all. Just her mother who is Mentally Callanged & her grandfather. Me& my husband she is our godchild she calls me Grand & hubby Pop-pop. I'm just beside myself, I hope they get to go on the cruise & I hope he doesn't sell his house right away. I know this isn't right to feel this way, I can't help it. Sharon Samantha comes to our house every other week-end & has since she was born.

The only thing I can do is put in God's hands. Other then putting it God;s hand that is all I can do, what will be will be. I will either be sad or happy & I'll have to make the best of it. If they do move to Florida The Grandfather has promised me he will send SS up to see us.

If they don't do the cruise I'll have to cancell also. I can't afford to go by myself

I'm so looking forward to this cruise & meeting this lovely group of people.


I still have my son's trip to China to look forward too

It wasn't a mistake that we mentioned we were going shopping before we mentioned what a mess her room was. Amazing what works on the mind of a tween girl. Since my wedding is finally get closer, Shaun and I finally booked our honeymoon. We are doing the 2/9/08 Cruise. 2 cruises in 2 months? I should be nice and relaxed

Now I just have to wait until Thursday for the wedding coordinator to call me.
