EARLY CHECK IN: December 15th, 2007 - Seven night Western - 12/15/07

Those pumpkins are great. This will be our first year at attempting to carve a pumpkin.

Love the Mickey laundry room. How are you decorating the baby's room? We've got to come up with that and boy names. So far we aren't having much luck.

It's going to be in the 80's in my area today. I'm looking for some real Fall weather.

Wow, Stacie, those pumkins are great! Where did you get your patterns? We always do 4 pumpkins here, one for each of us. We don't ususally do them until a couple of days before Halloween though because they get all icky looking to quickly. Last year was funny because we were down at my brother's house the weekend before Halloween and we were doing 7 pumpkins. It took forever!

Love the Mickey laundry room!

We found a POC pumpkin carving kit at Menards (our local home improvement chain). They had a Disney princess kit too. You transfer the pattern onto the pumpkin and then use little saws to carve the pattern out. DH's pumpkin is going to have Captain Jack Sparrow on it (he's going to let me carve it :cool1: ).

Susan--We got the baby bedding off of e-bay. It's from Pottery Barn Kids but I waited too long and it was discontinued. I thought fish were appropriate since the baby is going to see the ocean twice in a year. You can't really tell in the picture but the room is blue on the bottom and yellow on top.

I think it is a lovely baby room. I am so exited for the eminent pictures of the new baby!!

We went to the Dr. today, no news. I've been having contractions but nothing regular. I am choosing not to go with the Girl Scouts tommorrow. They are leaving at 7AM to go to camp two hours away and coming back at 7PM. I rather not have a baby in Boone, IA.

I might have to teach DS how to post pics unless the hospital has wi-fi (yeah right, they only have three TV channels :) ).

Yeah, Stacie, I think that is a probably a good idea. I don't think the Girl Scouts have a badge for helping deliver a baby. ;) I hope all goes well (and this weekend would be good too, right). Teach DS how to post pictures so we can see them as soon as possible. :sunny:

Hi everyone. I've gone 2 days with no nausea...yeah!! We've also decided how to decorate the baby's room. We're going to go with UNC Tarheels. We both went to college and met there. I'm 20 weeks tomorrow...halfway there.

Stacie, I think it's a good idea too that you didn't go camping. I look forward to seeing pictures.

Cristi, I like the picture of your two children too.

Finally went to go apply for my passport today. That took a lot less time than I scheduled. One thing done with for the cruise/school.

Yeah, no nausea! I remember how great that was. :)

We don't have ours yet. I think we will wait until spring to go get them.

We haven't heard from Stacie in a few days. I am thinking there must be a baby, right? Can't wait to see pictures!

Sorry to disappoint, no baby yet. Sunday seemed to be really busy although now I can't even remember what we did. Yesterday I got caught up on some "work" for our business and some other stuff just in case.

My hospital has a website where they post pics of newborns the site is:
http://www.pellahealth.org/peek-a-view/index.php You can look for Stacie and Kevin. Hopefully it will be soon.

Susan--Glad to hear your feeling better, hopefully the nausea stays away.

I need to go find the thread for my March cruise. Hardly anybody posts on it, I think it's buried on page 4 or something.

Have a good day!!

I have bookmarked that nursery page so I can get a look at the new baby! Thanks Stacie.

Nothing new here. It's DH and I's 15th anniversary today so we went out for supper. Afterwards we went to the costume shop and got the kid's costumes. DS has a boy/girl party to go to. He's going as a mobster (we were mean and wouldn't let him get a gun), DD is got a fuschia prom dress, tiara, and matching shoes.

We go to the Dr. tomorrow, I'll keep you posted.

Happy Anniversary Stacie! How did it go at the doctors? Hopefully pretty soon he will be here (do you have a name yet?).

The kids and I went to a community halloween party last night. They had a good time. DS won Best Costume for his age group. He was a LEGO. I will post a picture later.

What is everyone up to this weekend? DD spent the night at a friend's house last night and then tonight she is going with a different friend to Six Flag's. DS has a b'day party later today and then after that DH, DS and I will go to my cousin's (my dad's cousin) retirement party.

I have been going through all of our WDW pictures from the summer. I uploaded a bunch to snapfish and ordered some prints. Now, I can do my album.

I want to go NOW! I don't want to wait another year. :sad2: Sorry, I have been in a little bit of a rut lately and want to do something. I think part of it is I won't be able to take off Spring break with the kids so it will be next summer before we get to go anywhere. Maybe I should look into taking a couple of days off after the 1st of the year before they go back to school and renting something next to a ski area....

Hey all!

The Dr. checked me yesterday and basically nothing new. My body didn't like it though and I ended up going to the OB department last night. I was having regular contractions but nothing very strong. He called them "irritations". I would call it something else but I'd probably get censored. :) Hopefully soon.

No plans this weekend. DS has a orchestra event in town all day. They practice with three other schools then put on a concert tonight. DD is doing a social studies project at a friend's so I'm just hanging out.

Cristi--It's funny that your son was a Lego. DS was a lego 5 or 6 years ago. We spray painted a cardboard box red and glued on three plastic spray painted tubs for the pegs. He wore a red sweatshirt and sweatpants underneath. It was one of the easiest (and cheapest) costumes ever. It was funny to watch him try to walk up steps because the box came down on his thighs a little bit and he couldn't bend his legs.

Are there any hotels in your area with waterparks inside? Even one night would be fun and probably make you feel better. Skiing would be fun too but I don't know how so a waterpark sounds better to me.
