That was a good one.
I am getting ready to take the kids to daycare and then I have the day to myself today. I needed a day to myself after working 6 out of the past 7 days. I did let them sleep in though so they aren't too upset with me.

Nope, nobody ran me off. Things have just been crazy since DD started school. I don't know how those of you with more than one child do it. I guess I'm going to find out soon...

We saw Jeff Foxworthy in concert once for a Children's Hospital benefit. We used to watch his show as well.

Kristin, glad you didn't get any damage from the storm.

Nope you didn't run me off. I just decided to go to the movies yesterday instead.

Haha about "sugah." Thats what both my grandmothers called their hugs.

I thought maybe I had gone too far. Ha Ha. I used to know a bunch of those and what was so funny was that I always knew what the words meant BEFORE jeff explained them to us. That was why it was so funny to me. I don't think he does that anymore in his act.

DD8 started school today. She is pretty excited about the whole thing. New school and other new stuff. She wants to go to the after school pretty often because she went today and loved it. She hasn't gotten to play with any kids in a few weeks. She is pretty shy and takes awhile to warm up to new people. Maybe I can send her acouple of days per week.

Wow...thats really early to be starting school. Is it a private school?

I dont start classes again until August 24th. I'm looking forward to school though because I'll have something else going on other than my retail job so my brain doesn't turn to mush.

well had ressie for Christmas at PORS, then I heard how you could by points for DVC. A month ago I went to the DVC site & a man had just posted VWL for the same time I wanted to go. I emailed him & told him I may be interested if the price was right. We are talking the week of of Christmas 20-27. He called me & told me the price. One bedroom full kitchen, pictures look great. The price was a bit higher then PORS, I jumped on it. I sent him a large deposit & didn't hear from for nearly 3 weeks. I'm thinking I've been had .About 10 days ago he e-mailed & said he had the ressie changed to my name. He would e-mail me & snail mail the hard copy. In a panic today I called him, getting real nervous. Well he e-mailed me back the conformation. I called DVC & sure enough they had my name. So now I'm at VWL. I then put the balance in the mail.

I can't wait. I've stayed at WL in 2004, it is really a nice place.

I'm going to go to DTD & see if I can get a cab, there is a new super wal-mart about 3 miels away from DTD. that should save a little on food

yearbook--My DD is on a yearround school schedule that takes longer breaks during the year but starts a little early. So she starts earlier. My DS is starting high school and he doesn't start school until August 15th I think. Coming up soon.

Queen, congrats on the 1 bedroom at VWL. I will be at the VWL from 12-21-12-24. We will have to arrange a Mini Cruise meet! Yay! Gotta go get the DD ready for school....

Susan--Sounds eerily similar to a post I had a few months ago, is there something we should know?

Tammy--Glad to hear that your DD is liking school so far, I hope it continues to go good for her. The after-school program sounds like a good place to make new friends.

Yesterday I was having a crabby day, when I got home, I had gotten the new(?) DCL DVD and brochure/book in the mail. Mickey must have known I needed a pick-me-up.

I was wondering if anyone would catch my meaning. I'm only 5 weeks 3 days along, so we really aren't telling anyone yet. I had a miscarriage in January, so I'm being extra cautious. It was hard explaining a miscarriage to a 5 year old. I started feeling nauseous today, so I hope that's a good sign.

I work part-time for a CPA, so I was hoping to make it through one more tax season. I've calculated my due date at 3-22, so I guess I won't make it. I'm going to wait a few more weeks to tell them too.

Tammy, we're in year round school too. We really like it. That's how we went on our first cruise in September.

Sharon, sounds like you got a great deal for your next trip to Disney. We're thinking about going back in January, but I'll be 29 weeks along. We'll see...

Thanks everyone for the kind words. At least I can talk about it here since we're not telling anyone yet.

We thinking about the first week in January, like 12/31-1/05. We were looking at Disney properties last night, and there's not a lot available. There is nothing available on 12/31. My birthday is 1/04, so I'd like to be there then. We may push it up a couple of weeks. I'll have to ask the doctor about traveling at 27-29 weeks.

Susan--- Pixie dust and prayers for you. That's exciting! Funny thing is that Cristi (then the DIS boards) was one of the first ones that knew I was pregnant because I didn't want to tell anybody yet, but if didn't tell someone I was going to burst!

NE Nebraska is not too far away, maybe if was a weekend. We live in central Iowa, just a little SE of Des Moines, which is right in the center.
