Early Check-In/ DDP Question

I hope this is in the right place. We'll be arriving in WDW in the evening on Sat 2/21 and staying somewhere either a value or off-site that night. Our package begins on Sun 2/22. My question is if we check in early in the morning on Sunday, will we get our park tickets and dining plan activated then? I'm not expecting to have the room ready. I would just like to use the DDP that day at the parks. Thanks.

Yes, theyll give you the room keys with the tickets and dining credits on them and theyll give you a card with a number to call back later to get your room number once its ready

Exactly what we did this past August. Even left the car at the Resort and took bus to TP.

It works great, We check in early (our room wasn't ready) but went straight to eat lunch and then to MK!!!!
