Some advice please on our best option: We have an 8:40 breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. Would prefer not to have to drive over from Pop Century. So is it practical to think we can get the first bus to leave Pop and make it on time? I know we'd have to go to MK and then take monorail/boat on to GF. If we have to drive can we leave our cars at GF for the day while we go on to the parks?

1) Yes. Even better, when you get on the MK bus tell the driver you have an early ADR @ the GF. We've had 50/50 experiences with drivers taking us to the resort instead of the park.

2) If you pay to valet you can leave your vehicle at the resort, if you don't pay you must drive to the TTC after your meal, then take the ferry or monorail to MK.

3) You can always Uber or cab it to the GF from Pop. This is what we prefer to do, especially in the morning. It's worth the few $$ to not have to worry about a) getting up super early to take the bus/monorail, and b) have door-to-door service.

You could also just park at the TTC in the morning, monorail to GF for breakfast, then monorail to MK after. Return to TTC at the end of the day.

I have never stayed at a value resort so I am not sure of the bus schedules there but I know the Deluxe resorts start running their buses an hour in a half before the parks open, so if MK opens at 9:00, then the first bus would probably be around 7:30ish...Again I am not sure how the buses work at the values so I don't know how long it will take to get to MK from Pop but once you get there its a quick boat ride from MK to GF so you should be able to make it in time for your breakfast ADR. If you do decide to drive you could either drive straight to GF and like pp stated pay for the valet to park your car there all day or you can just drive to TTC and then take the monorail over to GF from there...either way you should not have a problem making your ADR

We have also had great experience with the bus driver actually taking us to the resort for an early ADR.

Buses from all resorts start running about 6:30 every day.

For an 8:40 ADR, I would be at the bus stop around 7:15. If you mention where you're going, the bus driver may offer to take you to the GF.

If you decide to drive, just park at the TTC and take the resort monorail to the GF. I would leave around 7:45.

Thanks everyone! I was thinking staying at a resort gave you free parking anywhere on the property but I'm guessing that only applies to the parks. So if we drive we will go to the TTC and park but I'm hoping we will instead get up and ready in time to get the first bus.

You can park at another resort for free, just not for theme park access. Those lots (in the monorail resorts especially) barely even have room for the guests paying big dollars to stay there.

You don't want to take the first bus - that would be much too early. Being at the bus stop by 7:15 will give you plenty of time.

Yeah, getting up that early to reach the first bus at 6:30am you'll need a "first: breakfast before leaving to get your "second" breakfast at 8:40am. It would give time to explore the GF resort, though.
