Early Arrival Day Insulin Storage?

Hello! We will be arriving on a red-eye flight from the West (what was I thinking?!) so our room will not be ready until several hours after we arrive. We are staying at Pop Century.

I know Guest Services will store our luggage until the room is ready. Can/will they store our DD's insulin in a fridge or cool storage area for us as well? We will be using Magical Express. Since we don't want to check her supplies in our luggage, we would be bringing the insulin to the storage area ourselves. Has anyone done this? What type of box or bag did you use for the storage and how did you mark it?

This will be our first major trip since her type 1 dx about a year ago. Trying to be as prepared as possible! So thank you so much for any suggestions!

The luggage storage areas does have refrigerators, so they can store it for you. My meds are in their own box. I just put it in a plastic bag. They'll tape or staple it closed, out an ID tag on it, and give you a copy.

If you do online check-in and give your ETA for the resort, there's a chance your room might be ready even early in the morning. We've had that happen as early as 8:00 am.

Also, if you need to bring your insulin to the park (and don't have a frio wallet), First Aid will keep it in their fridge.

Thanks Minnie Mum!
We have a Frio for the vial we will carry with us to the parks. DD uses an Omnipod, so don't plan to need it, but good to have just in case! :)
Thanks for the online check in suggestion. We'll give it a try. We may get lucky . . .
