Quick question, since you can book ADRs 180+10 out, does that extra window make it impossible to get any PPO ADRs? Tomorrow is my 180 day mark. I'm hoping to book either crystal palace or BOG. But if someone else has been able to book it all ready, will there be any PPO ADRs left? Should I still get up and call at 5:00 am?

I believe it starts at 6 online and 7 by phone, and yes, you should go on at the earliest time! What you can do is try for a day later in your week to try for your harder reservations(if you have +10). Not everyone has 180+10, if you do not have a resort reservation, as some people stay off property or have not reserved yet, and are at 180. Still others don't make theirs now because they plan more last minute trips or don't know to do it this early. Be aware that PPO does not always stay that way, as Disney changes hours, sometimes even a week or two before, and then if it's at regular opening time, it ends up not being a great ADR, as you want to be jumping on rides. We enjoy doing late brft at CP, especially on EMH day(if you are on property) as it will still be "quieter" on Main St. for pics first thing, and tben you get a lot done before brft/brunch, and then plan FP for early afternoon when lines are longer. So get day if you can, late if not, and then you modify later!

Also, people will change plans and drop things, even in the next few days, as they see what they want to keep of what they grabbed, so all is not lost if you don't get it on the first try! Then, people drop and add, even up to the day before an ADR, and things pop open for others. There will be a Cancelled ADR thread on here for your month, that you can watch, where will people try to coordinate their cancellations so others can try to pick them up. So get the best you can for now, and then it will be a process for tbe next 6 months of editing your choices, as you experience true Disney planning!:earsboy:

As said in the previous post, the problem with PPO ADR's are Disney constantly changing their opening hours so what may appear to be a PPO now may not be then, so they are never guaranteed anyway, as we have found out several times to our disappointment. As we stay on site we always make the most of early EMH so don't want to be sat in a restaurant while the park is half empty. We now book several of our favourite PPO ADR's in the hope that one of them will stay as a PPO and cancel the others as to off-site guests they will still be PPO as they can't access EMH for the rides.

We just got home Wednesday morning. I was able to pick up a few PPO reservations during our stay. I booked a 8:05am Crystal Palace the day before and we saw BOG reservations available most days. I was surprised at how many great restaurants were available. During our stay we had 2 PPO reservations at BOG, 1 at Crystal Palace and 1 at Tusker House. All 3 days at Magic Kingdom we finished breakfast early enough to jump in the line for Mine Train and were able to ride one time before the rope drop crowd.

I managed to get CP for 8:15 and a princess be for 8:15 on a different day. I think those are good times

Congrats! They are good times - hopefully they will stay PPO! If not, you can try and switch to late brft - we were able to do that last yr. the week before Christmas when park times were extended, and our ADR was no longer PPO - kept checking and were able to change it the day before. Also, plan to arrive early - be through security by 7:45, and there is a line to the side where they check in PPO brft ADRs. You should be able to get in, take pics, and check in for your ADR early, and may get started before 8:15, giving you a better shot at finishing closer to park opening. Enjoy CP - our fave brft - chef does made-to-order omelettes, puffy French toast is yummy, and bouncing w/Tigger to top it all off!:tigger:

Last year in June, Disney changed quite a few days for MK to 8am openings...so you may want to book a back up for later. The Akershus one should be fine unless it ends up being an EMH day.

I always book PPO ADRs. TO me, it is worth it to book them at the onset of the booking window and cancel them if hours change, than it is to wait and see.
