Early 2017 itineraries announced. Bookings open on October 7 & 8, 2015!

I, for one, am excited. We have only been on one Disney Cruise, so most of the itineraries are "new to us" and I"m excited to book my next cruise! I have until 11/1 to re-book my OBB "placeholder cruise" that we selected when we were onboard our cruise last winter. I'm excited they released the dates for 2017 before my time was up!!

The Southern Caribbean prices are crazy. Way higher than the January 2016 prices.

Hi! So excited for you to be booking your second cruise!

Just wanted to double check that you are aware that with the OBB it is a "Sail By" date and not a "Book By" date. You have 2 years from when you booked your OBB to "Sail by". So if you booked your OBB last winter on Nov. 1, 2014 then you must sail by Nov. 1, 2016.

The countdown is now on for all the belly aching posts about the price of a DCL cruise..lol...

I think that the combination of lack of quotes posted compared to previous opening days and also the lack of threads about the price gouging that people have pretty much accepted the fact that DCL is nuts and have moved onto other cruise lines.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing.

Yes, thank you :)

We sailed February 2015 and are looking to book for a January 2017 cruise :) The 11/1 date was the pay in full date for the "dummy" cruise, booked for 2016.

Oh good, I wasnt sure! that makes sense then. Happy cruise booking and sailing in January 2017!

Agreed, but aren't the winter ones usually slower due to the time of year too? Either way, seems there is less interest for sure, at least on this board. Still not holding my breath that they will lower prices mind you... ;)

Spring break cruises used to sell pretty quickly the first few days they opened. That drove up pricing fast.

Anyone have an idea where the Magic will sail to when it leaves San Juan after the Apr 30 S. Carib cruise? Back to Miami? Continue to do S. Carib? Somewhere new?
My guess would be a transatlantic to Europe

I wonder whether the Magic in San Juan on May 7 or the Wonder in Port Canaveral on April 23 will do the Panama Canal cruise in 2017? Either ship will be able to fit through the Panama Canal after the Wonder's major dry dock - assuming the PC widening has been completed. However, it seems more likely to me that the Transatlantic would be from Port Canaveral, and that means the Wonder. We'll have to wait until March or so to find out!

Yes, but the time of year plays in. These are prime time spring breaks for lots of people so the prices would be jacked up anyway compared to January.

Not surprising that there is a significant price increase from San Juan January on Wonder 2016 and the April cruises on Magic 2017. Not surprising at all.

Significant increase? How cheap was the January 2016 wonder cruises when they first came out?

Why doesn't it give you the option to pick your dining time? Or did I just not go far enough yet?
