My grandmother has an old ticket book with a few e-tickets still left on them. Is it worth anything or can it be used to exhange for a present day ticket?

you'd probably get more out of a Disneyana Collector than you would by exchanging them for a one day pass @ the parks.

DH had quite a few booklets and loose tickets from the early WDW days. He tried to trade them in for a credit toward our passes about four years ago. The CM said he could take them, but said we'd be crazy to do it. He said we'd get very little credit, and (as mentioned above) they were more valuable as momentos.

So we kept them. From time to time DH checks prices on eBay, but he hasn't gotten around to selling what he has. If you're looking for a valuation, I can tell you that loose tickets are worth very little. A complete book is worth a lot. You have to keep watching eBay because this type of item is not always listed.

DH did take one loose e-ticket and laminated it as a bookmark! ::yes:: He loves showing it to CMs when we're in the parks.
