So I got an email to join the E rewards opinion panel from southwest rewards. It says that you can redeem e rewards currency for reward points. This is by invitation only it says. Anyone know if this is legit and if it is did you do it and was it worth the time? Thanks

I have been with e-rewards for years. They are my favorite rewards site. I cash out for free hotel nights every vacation (I use the Hilton Honors option). The surveys can sometimes be long and boring, but they are very good about giving a fair payment for your time.
The only thing I would caution you to do is pay careful attention to your survey credits. They tell you it can take up to a week or so to get your payment, and there have been a handful of times that I've had to remind them to credit me.
And yes, they are invitation only. I say go for it! :thumbsup2

I got the same email today. I'm seriously considering it. :)

I just got and accepted the same invitation. I figure that every little bit helps.:thumbsup2

I got the same, and signed up. It also said you get 350 reward points after completing one survey, so I figure that's pretty good even if that's all I ever do. It's good to see a positive recommendation though, because I used to do rewards programs and stopped when most of them took forever to earn, or required too much effort. So it would be nice to have a program that is worth your time.

For anyone who is already enrolled, how much $ or credits do they give you per survey? I can't find that anywhere on their FAQs.. I would hope around a dollar at least? I've done surveys a lot in the past and some places only give you 25 cents or so per survey. Just curious how much work it takes to get anything back.

generally the longer they are the more you get.

Some are only a couple of $'s and others can be $5 or more. I had a $6.50 earlier this week. Likewise some surveys may take 5 mins and other can be 25-30 mins.

I've been with them for years and had been cashing out for Hilton Honors pts but since I have 200K of them now and just got the Southwest Visa card, lately I've been cashing out for them.

I wish i could switch mine to southwest. I might just have to email em. I've gotten as little as .10 to 6.50.

I have also done e-rewards for years. It takes awhile to get something good. It is not one of my best survey place, but they do pay out fast. I get American Eagle gift cards and my husband gets Macys gift cards. Only problem is that you can only get the gift cards awards 4 times a year.

I use this quite often. I've cashed in 2,000 delta miles in the past 4 months.

Every little bit helps, right?:goodvibes

what do you mean "switch"?

You can choose to redeem with any of the rewards they offer?

I am pretty sure on my accounts I only have choice of Delta maybe I'll have to look again.

You're probably correct. Each account gets to pick from certain rewards. I have a friend who gets Gamestop, and I don't...but I get Blockbuster, and she doesn't. Not sure how they pick and choose.

I've done it for about 2 years, and tend to cash ou for Holiday Inn points. The surveys generally pay well. Usually it's $.25 if you don't qualify, and varies quite a bit for those you do qualify for.

It sounds like your options to cash out for vary quite a bit. I have no option for gift cards. It's all hotl points or frequent flier miles.

E-rewards is legit. I've been with them for several years. The $ amount you get paid for surveys is a little misleading as there is no option to just "cash out". You redeem for rewards and your choices vary depending on whose invitation you accepted. Generally, if you join via an airline, that airline is your only airline miles/points option for redemption; but you'll have all of the hotel partners as other choices. If your sponsor was a hotel, that's the only hotel partner you can redeem from, but you'll have most (if not all) of the airline miles/points options. There are also some retail redemption options and magazine subscriptions.

I just got a invite from Southwest yesterday too. I was unsure but did sign up. I already did a few very short surveys and made $6.50 so far.

I've been a member of e-rewards for about 3 years now. As others have said, each survey has a different dollar value depending on the length of the survey. If you don't qualify for a survey you usually get about .25. Also they periodically send you surveys just to update your info that are worth a couple of cents. This adds up pretty quickly.

Last year they offered Target gift cards ($25 and $50) and I was able to get two of the $50 cards. My initial invitation was thru Delta so I always cashed out for skymiles but once I did redeem for Hilton Honors points.

Sometimes there may be a lag between survey offers but I find it helps if you log into your account and change some of your pedigree information or the amount of surveys you want to receive.

I've been with them for years. My recent surveys have ranged from .25 to $15 each and I get between 3-5 surveys each week recently. I always cash out for Hilton Honors points to help with vacations
