Hi folks - I just had to vent a little bit . . . .
I am an E-bay buyer and seller and have placed some items for sell with the option of free shipping if the Buy It Now feature was used. I placed an astrik at the bottom of the auction that stated to please wait and pay when you receive an invoice from me through Paypal and E-bay if you use the Buy It Now option. (If the buyer follows the link on the page, Paypal adds the shipping charges).
Flash forward - auction ends at 2:04 p.m. today - I send out correct invoices at 2:06 p.m. from E-bay and 2:16 p.m. from Paypal. I receive an e-mail from my buyer stating:
"I want to use pay pal, but it keeps trying to charge me for shipping when you claim shipping is free when Buy it Now is used. So tell me what to do, the cost is ****, i'm not paying for shipping because you claimed it was free, let me know soon."
I have e-mailed this buyer with the correct instructions on how to handle this and have even contacted e-bay directly about the proper way to handle this auction. But . . . I keep getting the above e-mail every five minutes! What is so difficult that people can't follow directions???
