dyson dc17 dead motor, what about attachments?

OK, I've got a dyson dc17 with a dead motor.
So, I'm thinking about getting a new one.

Does anyone know if the attachments from the older models work with the
newer models?
I'm looking at the dc33 or dc41.
Anyone know? thanks
