Hi,

After looking at my ADRS and figuring my trip I think the DxDP will be better for my traveling party than the DDP and save money in the long run.

Before I switch I want to confirm what DxDP includes. Not that I don't trust the CM I spoke with, but as you know some CMs are not as knowledgable as others. So here goes..please let me know if below is correct.

DXDP includes:

3 meals per night of your stay
you can use your meals for either TS or CS in ANY combination you want
with TS you get appetizer, entree, dessert & soft drink
with CS you get entree or combo meal, dessert & drink
you get 2 snacks a day
you get a refillable resort cup
tax is included
DxDP is $65.99 per adult per night of stay

TIPS ARE NOT INCLUDED

Is this correct? Am I missing anything?

Also...does anyone know how much a refillable resort mug is if you bought it on your own?
And, I was thinking of using 2 meals for a dinner at Yachtsman. I noticed that the "side dishes" (potatoes, veggies) are listed seperately on the menu. If you order any of the side dishes is it an additional cost above the DxDP?

Thanks so much for your expert information..

We ate at Yachman's on the dining plan in November and our meals entrees (we both ordered rib eyes) came with bread (which was delicious, they had these little onion rolls plus regular bread and roasted garlic), horseradish mashed potatoes and the rib eyes. We ordered creamed spinach and a side of mushrooms on the side and were charged separately for those. It would be nice if you could swap the dessert for a side because I did not really care for any of the desserts. We didn't ask, but maybe they would let you.

The way I understand the plan jives with what you wrote with the exception of one thing:

I believe the cost is $69.99/adult, not $65.99.

Our experience has been sides listed as extra or a la care were charged separately. We went to Puck's last year and they offered pumpkin ravioli (awesome, by the way) and had a note that said "add chicken for $5.95" or something to that effect. When I tried to order it with the chicken I was informed that I would be charged separately for that.

* 3 TS per night/per guest and can be used for CS instead
* App, entree, dessert, non-alcoholic beverage for TS
* Entree (or combo meal), dessert, non-alcoholic beverage for CS
* 2 snacks per day
* 1 refillable resort mug for each guest on the plan (can only be used at your resort) - cost is somewhere between $12-$15 if purchased separately
* Sales tax is included
* Tips are NOT included, unless specified in the plan guide:

* The added cost is $69.99 per guest over age 3
* Per the plan rules, no substitutions are allowed. However, I have seen some posts saying their restaurants overlooked this, but don't count on it. You might want to ask them when you make your ADR.
