DW & DH Take on the World, Without Kids, YEA!

Hey KimmyDisneyNerd:
How did you put the Quoto in there???

Just click on the "Quote" button on the bottom right of the post you would like to quote, and it will open a window with the quote in it. You can either add to the bottom of the quote or above the quote. Just make sure it is outside the entire quote, or your post will end up in the middle of the quoted part.

Man, I hope this make sense, cause I'm confused!:rotfl:
I typed Quote a million times!

This is the day that we do nothing, YEA Right. On thing about me. I don't sit still. I can't. I always have several projects going at the sametime. Adult ADD. Right now we are painting the whole inside of our house, we're on the dinning room and den. The den has paneling so DH is filling in all the grooves with joint compound. Then we have to prime it and then paint. I can't wait until it's done. The dinning room and halls are on my plans for the day, but I thought I need to post Day 4.

Again Day 4 was suppose to be our lazy day, because we thought that maybe the parks would be crowded, so we had planned to stay away from them but DH inside alarm woke him up at 6:30, he tried to by quite, but I ended up getting up and we decided since we were up Why not go back to AK and catch the park opening and watch The Festival of the Lion King again and film it for our DD, plus finish things that we didn't get to see. We had time, so why not.

After a shower, coffee and a coke off we went.
I shot a few pictures of the lobby of BW.

P1000252.jpg

We caught the bus at 8:15, because we didn't want to miss it. We got there in plenty of time.

P1000253.jpg

We thought that we had missed the opening of the park because they just let us in the front gate but they stopped everyone in the front of the Tree of Life, and told us to wait here. Here they come...

P1000254.jpg

P1000255.jpg

P1000256.jpg

Mickey in the far back ground. He's hard to see...

P1000257.jpg

P1000258.jpg

We decided that we would catch the Maharajah Jungle Trek, before we headed over to the 9:40 FOTLK.
The Tigers we out wondering around. I was a little nervous because they were so close to the glass.

P1000259.jpg

P1000260.jpg

DH got a little upset with me because I kept on telling him we had to hurry because I didn't want to be late to FOTLK. He wanted to keep on looking at all the birds and animals.

A few pictures of the FOTLK.

P1000263.jpg

P1000264.jpg

The Bird...I can't wait to see her fly. That is so cool.

P1000266.jpg

P1000267.jpg

I just love the Festival of the Lion King, it just gives me goosebumps.
On to Africia, to Rafiki's Planet Watch. First a stop at the Giraffe sign again, last picture we cut of his head, I wanted one with his head in the picture.

P1000268.jpg

P1000269.jpg

DH saw this sign and thought I just need it or at least a picture of it.

P1000270.jpg

On to Rafiki's Planet Watch. I love this shot of the building, it's really cool.

P1000271.jpg

Pocahontas and I.

P1000272.jpg

RPW wasn't that exciting for us because we both have grown up with or around cows, horses, pigs, Angora Goats, and so on. So we didn't stay there long but it was really pretty. We enjoyed the train ride over there though it was cool and relaxing. Again, it was hot, I still think that AK is the hottest park there is.

P1000273.jpg

More to come!

One of the things that we had on our agenda for Day 4 or Day 5 was to check out some of the resorts for further trips. So we caught the bus over to AKL to see what we thought about it. We loved the way it look, but still a little concerned about how far it is from the parks. We do love the veranda and being able to check out the animals, but I still think that staying at the BoardWalk area is the best place for us.
Here's some pictures.

We couldn't catch the bus back to BW so we decided to go over to Downtown Disney. It was getting close to lunch time and we were both hungrey. So we decided that eatting at DownTown Disney would be fun.

Here' some great shots of Downtown Disney.

The Great Big World of Disney Store..We spent lots of time there.

P1000287.jpg

Lego Store

P1000288.jpg

On the Surprise trip last year. We got DS19 the Mickey & Yoda, (Star Wars) compination at Once upon a Toy store and BF's DS4 loves this toy. (We haven't taken it out of the box, collector kind of thing) Well, I had promised BF's DS4 that I would bring him one back from Disney, so off to Once upon a toy to get it.

P1000289.jpg

Guess What they didn't have it. I was so upset...because I had promised him, and he had reminded me the night before we left to not forgt my Mickey & Yoda. DH reminded me that MGM (DS) might have it at there Star Wars Store: Tatooine Traders... So I hoped they did.

This was the weekend that they had the Water Skiing Event going on. I would have love to see this because I love to water ski.

P1000297.jpg

This area last year was under construction so it was really cool to see it finished.

We had lunch at Fulton's Crab house. In West Texas you can't get very good seafood we just have a Red Lobster, not even Joe's Crab Shack. So we thought that eatting at Fulton's Crab House would be nice.

P1000305.jpg

It was pretty good. DH loved it more than me.

P1000290.jpg

Salad's

P1000291.jpg

P1000292.jpg

DH had the Combination Fish, Shrimp and Scallop's

P1000293.jpg

I had the PopCorn Shrimp...These look like smalll Shrimp to me, not Popcorn.

P1000294.jpg

BF's DH calls me the bird because I don't eat very much so I took a before and after picture of my plate... He was right, but there was alot of food.

P1000295.jpg

After a busy afternoon at Downtown Disney, we caught a bus to BW for some R&R, Yea right. I was ready for the pool.
Great shots of the slide and pool.

Whew:woohoo: I didn't get my hair wet.

P1000329.jpg

We enjoyed just relaxing in the pool water resting our calf, leg and feet muscles, they were a little sore. We only stayed a couple of hours because we had an ADR for 7:25 at Yachtsman Steakhouse. This is going to be our Anniversary Dinner.
TexasBelle

You have made me want to stay at Boardwalk! It's so pretty, but the inside seems fancy. Do you think it's a good place to stay w/ kids? I know the pools great though!

The pool was fun and we enjoyed it lots, but the pool at the BeachClub is fabulous, your children would love the sand area, they would love the lazy river, the slide (it's a little high but so much fun), one area of the pool they have a water volleyball game going on, and there are so many area's to swim. I loved staying at the BW the accomadations were great and not to fancy for children. I saw lots of children. I don't think that Disney would make a resort that isn't kid friendly... BC & BW are both in the Deluxe Resort range so if your thinking about one or the other, I would choose the BC because of the pool.

:surfweb: I love color, :cheer2: It just makes me happy.:goodvibes
Our 2nd anniversary was April 9th and instead of eatting somewhere special we decided that we would eat somewhere fancy in DW. Plus, the gift that I gave DH was an American Airlines DisneyWorld trip guide, in hopes that maybe we might plan a trip back to the World. Which we did, :cheer2: we started planning it that night that I gave him the book and it was booked 3 weeks later. When we check in at BW the Castmember asked if we were celebrating anything and DH jumped up and said that this is our second honeymoon and our anniversary, so they gave us 2 sets of pins, one said "Our Honeymoon" and the other "Happy Anniversary". We decided to wear our Anniversary pins instead of the others because this trip was more like an anniversary trip. When booking our ADR I made Saturday Night our special dinner night. So we booked it for Yachtman's Steakhouse. We both love steaks, good ole Texas people, so this turned out to be a wonderful choice.
Check out the top of the menu, it say's Happy Anniversary.

This was the end of Day 4. It was great to just lay by the pool and do nothing, although I think you should do that on every 3rd day not the 4th..

A trip to my favorite park...
Disney's MGM Studio's. I love everything about this park. The parade, the rides the Shows and FANTASMIC!!!
As usual we got up pretty early, It was just so impossible to sleep in not because of the resort but because of our excitement. We tried to slow down a little and take our time getting to DMS, but finally we just decided to go.
Here's a few more pictures of the Resort and the ride on the boat before we got to the park. BW is just about a 20 minute walk or a short boat ride away. This morning we decided to ride the boat.

Belle, I just love her!!!

Back to Disney MGM Studio's...
We spent about an hour away from the park which wasn't bad. When we got back to MGM, we went straight for TOT.. and we didn't have a wait. It was so much fun...

P1000373.jpg

After riding TOT, we decided that we had better head over to the Star Wars area, and see if they have the Mickey & Yoda Toy for BF's DS4...

P1000374.jpg

YEA!!! They had the toy, I was so excited, I didn't break my promise. I did learn to never make that kind of promise again. That really had me stressed.
On to Muppet Vision 3-D

Cute area for a pictures.

P1000407.jpg

As the parade was wrapping up a felt a few rain drop's so we hurried over to "The Little Mermaid Show" when we came out of the show it was raining, and it rained for an hour or so. But we were able to tour "The magic of Disney Animation" & "American Film Institute Showcase" and walked through some stores..

P1000408.jpg

We also went back over to Beauty and the Beast and watched it again...
That was so good. More pictures to come.
TexasBelle

:flower3: Well, if I remember right it rained alot that day, I think it quit for awhile and then when we went back to watch Beauty and the Beast the Thunder started and the rain came down like crazy again. We had ADR at Sci-Fe Dine-In Theater at 6:30 and we were at the front of the park. We adventured through the stores attempting to get to Sci-Fi, by the time we got there we were soaked. By the way our poncho's were at the resort. :sad1:

I took some pictures of Sci-Fi but they aren't very good but the food pictures were great.

DH and I split the Bar-B-Que Chicken Sandwich, they split it for us...

P1000415.jpg

When we left Sci-Fi the rain had stopped and it was a very pleasant evening. We wondered over to the Star Wars area and took this picture for BF's DH & DS4.

P1000417.jpg

There were still rain puddles everywhere but it had drained really good.

P1000418.jpg

P1000419.jpg

We got to Fantasmic Show around 7:15, and the crowd was pretty good. The show was fantastic, but then again isn't that why it's called Fantasmic...
Not many pictures, I got to involved in watching it.

I love the picture of your little girl "The picture of the Day" that is so cute. My DD13 was a big biter...She did it all the time, when she would get mad at middle DS, she would just lay into him, so finally we just had to start biting her back...:thumbsup2 It worked. Good luck.

Where are you staying when your go?

We just made plans for our next trip. October 3 - 11, 2008, I can't wait. Our BF's are going with us and our kids. I need the Disney count down thing on the bottom of my page so I'll know how long til our trip. But I don't know where to get it.:sad1: Do you know? More pictures to come I just have 2 more days.

Back to Magic Kingdom for the Whole Day.
On the surprise trip DS19 didn't want to hang in this park for very long because he had already played in this park 2 years before. He came with our youth group from our church they were in Tampa doing mission work and the kids always have a fun day so they bused all 100 kids over to Disney and they went to MK for the day. Which was really cool, except that on our Surprise trip we didn't stay very long at this park because DS19 had already been here. So Day 6 for us is going to be a full day at MK seeing every little corner of the park.
We had already spent Day 1 & 3 here but we didn't spend quality time in this park looking at all the decorations, events, shows and rides, so that was our plan for Monday, although remember that MK is crowded on the weekend and Mondays. We had planned on getting to the park early to watch the park opening, "Chang, Chang, Chang, went the Trolley, Ding, Ding, Ding went the bell"....and so on. But we didn't make it. We did catch the park opening on the Surprise Trip, so it wasn't something that we had never seen. But still would have loved to have seen it again.

When we got to the park at 9:00, we decided to hurry over to HM, because as you remember we didn't ride it Friday Night at MNSSHP, because of the rain. We got there and we went straight into the first room. That was really cool. After riding that we headed over to Fantasyland to ride all the rides in this area. We rode Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
P1000428.jpg

P1000429.jpg

Then we rode...Snow White's, Peter Pan's Flight again, we saw Mickey PhilarMagic again, I would see that 100 times or more, and It's a Small World. By the time we finished doing all this it was only 11:00, and the only thing that we didn't ride in Fantasyland was Dumbo and Mad Tea Party. Everything we rode we didn't have to wait in line at all.

I love this picture how the Crown fits on Cinderella's head.

One of my friends name is Edie so I took this picture for her.
