DVD player that projects onto a screen? Is there such a thing?

We have a movie screen that my mom doesn't want anymore. I was thinking it would be such fun to have movies outside in the yard this summer if there was a way to project DVD's onto a screen! Make popcorn and stuff.

Anybody know if there is such a device?

There is, we saw one being used at DBF's cousin's Eagle Scout ceremony. Problem is I don't know anything else about it. Sorry.

Yes, we bought a projector last winter so that we could continually play a video at an anniversary party. I am pretty sure my DH bought it at Best Buy, possibly around $100, but I could be wrong about the price. I don't know the name of it, but I was hoping to use it this summer for outdoor movies too. The kids like to use it in their bedrooms and project it on the ceiling too.

we bought one last summer (projector). We got it from Best Buy. Originally we were going to buy it online from walmart but got a better price at best buy. We use ours on a 12ft inflatable screen. The kids loved it. I think our neighbors thought we were a little crazy but oh well.

I can't find it right now, but I asked DH and he said it was made by Sharper Image. We think it was around $100, but aren't sure. You hook a dvd player up to the projector and use it that way. Sorry I can't be more help.
