DVC's phone has been busy all morning... what's up?

It is 1/18/05 and I have been trying to call DVC all morning. All I get is the busy signal, not even on hold.

Is something up today?

MS was closed yesterday and many members are calling to make December reservations at their 11 month window. THe phones for MS will probably continue to be busy for the rest of the month. Just keep trying - you'll get through eventually. Some members have reported success calling 407-566-3800 (rather thna the toll-free number).

It took me about 5 min of redialing this morning to even get thru and then I was on hold for about another 5 min. Just keep trying, you'll get thru eventually!

I got through first thing this morning with no problem. Got my ressie for December all set. I didn't reserve day by day, at OKW you rarely need to do a day by day.

You know you're addicted when you have MS set up as a speed dial number, even though I don't call them very often.

I agree that the 405 number (toll call) is easier to get through on than the 800 one. Many people's cell phone contracts include long distance. Now, how long you will be on hold is a different question. But this always happens after a Monday holiday.

I am glad you were able to get through to Member Services.

We all need to keep in mind that the first three months of the calendar year are the busiest for Member Services. Plus Mondays are the busiest day of the week. Since yesterday was a Monday holiday, today is very busy.

Same here! I got reservations for our June trip using this line with my unlimited long distance plan. I had a 7 minute wait.

I was getting a busy signal all morning until it hit me. Duh, try the 407 number! I got through right away and got my ressie. Hilton Head Island at 7 months out. Yay!
