Okay, now many of us have our DVC watches either in hand or on the way. We were curious about what everyone was doing with them.

They are packaged so nicely, the collector in me is begging to make sure that it stays in "mint" condition. Yet it also looks like a great way to proudly show our DVC membership. I have to admit, I was just a tad disappointed when I saw that it is not water resistant; that seems to preclude ever wearing them in the parks.

DW thinks it would be wrong to have them and not wear them. I guess I have to agree. The cool case that it came in can be diplayed without the watch inside!

What does everyone else think?

I was thinking the same thing!!

I too was Dis-appointed (LOL) that they are not Waterproof. I want to wear mine during our DVC stays. Im sure splash mtn. wont ruin it, but a trip to the W-parks may!

I will keep all my tags and my box, and it will hurt my Barbie-collecting heart to cut those tags off, but I held off buying another watch to have this one to wear on my trips.

So long story short: I plan on wearing it during DVC vacations.

Wear it. We have so many Disney collector watches we got years back from TDS that we never wore. Now after our recent collectible shelves collapse disaster hubby has pulled them out of the guest room and is starting to wear them.

I must admit, I would have ordered one if it was water resistant. I have a Fossil that I wear all the time, even to the pool with the kids and I like that feature.

Watch looks great though from the pics. Why store it away, would you ever sell it? I bet probably not. Might as well enjoy it and show off you're a DVC member.
