All WDW DVC resorts are open with the exception of Jambo only being open to DVC and not the hotel. HHI and VB are open. VGC and AUL are still closed.

You can reserve DVC at Jambo right now. People staying there have commented on how empty it is without the restaurants and gift shop being open. However, the pool is open.

Hotel rooms at Jambo are not open at this time.

The lounge is not open. You can book the rooms but it’s a waste of points given the poor views, no CMs to assist with club level services like dining reservations, etc. And of course, no snacks.

I would not expect the lounge to open until the hotel portion of the resort opens.

Actually, most reports are that those booked in a CL room are moved elsewhere.

But, I agree, CL won’t come back until Disney brings it back for all guests, as well as nothing more will open there until the actual hotel is open.

Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Resort, one of the best and most popular hotels in the Disney stable, was slated to reopen this October. But now Disney says the resort is staying shuttered until next summer 2021 Disney updated its website via WDWNT to note that the Polynesian wouldn’t be reopening until Summer 2021.

But, I agree, CL won’t come back until Disney brings it back for all guests, as well as nothing more will open there until the actual hotel is open.

Just to be clear - the Polynesian RESORT is not opening until Summer 2021 but the DVC side is open and will remain open along with the pools etc.

I just had a wait-list request come through for BWV today!
It shocked me, as I have never been successful with previous wait-lists.
When I saw an email pop up, and got an MDE notification at the same time, I was startled.
I quickly read through the notification to realize that my waitlist had been granted, DVC canceled the previous ressie, booked my request at BWV, and put the points that I saved as a result back in my account!
& I had just stopped "Stalking the RAT" last week, because I thought it was an exercise in futility.

I was actually very happy with Boardwalk, but my friends got a 1 br at Beach Club so I figured why not try to book a studio there for myself so we are all in the same place. I kind of figured it would not have much of a chance, but it came through - so yay!

I was actually very happy with Boardwalk, but my friends got a 1 br at Beach Club so I figured why not try to book a studio there for myself so we are all in the same place. I kind of figured it would not have much of a chance, but it came through - so yay!

I had 2 weeks at SSR-Studio-Std (90 points each), and then we added 2 weeks at SSR-P (104 Points each) after I bought more SSR in March.
Then I wait-listed the 1st 2 weeks at BWV, hoping to shave off some points, and to be close to EPCOT for the Arts Festival. 1 full week just freed up, and I never realized how easy they make the waitlist fulfillment.
Everything had been taken care of and updated both at the DVC site and in the MDE app. (So Disney does have some IT skills after all). I then decided to take the 12 points I saved for that week, add it to the 90 points for SSR-Std, plus pulled 2 from the 5 I had unused, and called DVC to see if they could add it on to the 2 weeks at SSR-P. (I probably could have attempted that myself, but didn't want to screw it up).
It took all of 15 minutes (& 6 minutes was on hold just waiting to get to a CM). So now I'm sitting with 1 week at BWV, followed by 3 weeks at SSR-Preferred !!
I left the 2nd wait-list active, just in case there's more Pixie Dust to be had
We originally thought we would only be hitting the parks for the first 10 days of our stay, since we initiated our APs while there in January.
BUT, thanks to COVID, our APs have been extended to June 2021, so we are going to take full advantage of that.

I think you got my dates for BC i bet! haha. i have a split stay, and i was able to snag a value studio at jambo to save points so i gave up two days at BC for it. trying to save up some points in case we decide to do aulani later next year or beginning of 2022. i was super surprised i was able to get a value studio for the dates i am planning on being there in march. looks like it worked out for all of us haha

lots of people are cancelling due to uptic in virus, ( FL. is in horrible shape), and not wanting to fly. also, long lines have become a problem, who wants to stand still, in long line surrounded by virus? and some of those lines are over an hr. wait! when they start FP again, and they flatten the curve a little, waitlist will once again be nearly impossible.
