DVC tours

I will be visiting WDW and staying at the BCV(thanks to a friend who couldnt use it) in early Feb. DH and I are very interested in buying into the DVC ourselves. Can anyone tell me how to go about getting a tour of the DVC resorts? I will have DH, DD4, DS2, and DD2-6 months. Are the tours kid-friendly? Will it take all day? I would really like to check out the SSR, VWL, and BWV. Is this even possible to do w/ a guide or should I just travel around to them all myself? Any tips would be appreciated!

The formal tour is offered at SSR - there is a minimal tour available at BWV also. Other resorts may be visited, but access is based on availability of unoccupied rooms when you visit and would be without a DVC guide.

You can arrange a tour in advance by calling the sales office at 1-800-800-9100 or can also be easily arranged at one the many DVC kiosks found at every resort and Theme Park or by dialing 40 on your room phone. The tour will take about 90 minutes (unless you have time concerns) and child care is provided during the tour. DVC will pick you up for your tour too.
