I just got a flyer in the mail for a special DVC (free!) tour they are having on OCtober 21 - I guess everyone who is booked at DVC resorts during that time will get one. It is a 3 hour tour with a re-dedication of the Roger E Broggie steam engine and a visit to the roundhouse and an "exclusive" presentation in the WD Story Theater on Main st. featuring Roger Broggie Jr. and Michael Broggie. My son is a train freak and is too young for their regular train tour - so this will be great! I've been a member for only 1.5 years - but have never seen a special tour like this offered. It is free - and you have to be there at 7:45am - and the reservation operator didn't know about it when I called today - but she figured it out and I got a conf. number. Now something else to look forward to in October!

I can't wait, it should be lots of fun. And they did say that space will be limited so hopefully it won't be too terrible. Ah the joy of being a local DVCer.
My DS would love it. He always has to carry around one of his Thomas trains. I wonder if only DVCers that have been around for a while are getting this invite. We have only been members since last sept.
