DVC Survey about Park Passes

I just completed a survey from DVC about and I quote, "potential tickets offered by WDW to DVC members." The survey asked my feelings on the following discounts available to DVC members.

15% off UPH's
15% off PHP's
$125 off PAP's
$100 off AP's

I gave my feelings on both, and then was asked to rank all the options. As my family rarely uses the waterparks, I ranked the $100 off AP's first. I was then asked how likely would I use the discount, and I of course said ALL THE TIME!!! Hopefully since they're asking these type of questions, it means we'll finally see some sort of better ticket discount. Maybe in time for 2005???? We can only hope!!!

This is all happening because I went out and bought 2 of the 3 APs that I'll need for our trips this summer and next summer. But, I would be thrilled with the $100 off the AP cost. We'll be planning a trip once a year for the next 6-8 years, so that's what we would use. Otherwise, we would try to stretch park hoppers by going to SeaWorld and Universal for a few days each trip.

It seems that Disney has an extensive survey in the field testing various combinations of discounts on ticket media.

What type of survey was this? Email? Snail mail? In person?

It was a post card directing me to www.disneysurvey.com with a passcode.

Just finished my survey and it worked out to 15% off of the passes.

60$ off of a AP
75$ off of a PAP
15% off of UPH
15% off of PH+

I wonder if they changed their pricing half way through or if the are surveying at different levels.

Do keep in mind that survey does not equal vote.

Answer "yes I'll use the discount all the time" may make it less likely to make Disney implement the discount - as a discount takes money out of their pocket (in the hopes that you spend more).

Don't get me wrong, I hope we get an AP discount. But a survey is Disney's way of trying to gauge both customer satisfaction with the options and the cost of providing those options.

Are all of you who received this survey so far current AP holders?

Just wondering if the current AP holders are the ones getting a different survey from non-AP holders.

Just completed the same survey with the 60$ off APs. Im just glad someone is getting the message -- that we want and deserve some type of discount. I would probably need more points with an AP- so disney would get even more of my money anyway!
