DVC stay, then cruise--transfer/bus?

Hi there! Just wondering how to put together a DIY land and sea vacation. We have the DVC room booked with points, and the cruise separately booked with cash. How do I get passage on a bus to the port? And will they return us via bus to MCO?

MS can help, there is bus from most DVC resort to/from the port. It cost about $75 each, so you might make out better renting a car or using a limo service if you more than 2 people. I would check on the cruise line board.

Call DCL (or your TA) directly to arrange transportation to/from the Port. The cost is $35 per person one way. You would only call MS for DCL Transportation if the cruise was booked using points.

For DME between MCO and your WDW Resort, you would contact MS.

We arranged a transfer from our dvc resort to the cruise thru the concierge once we arrived at hotel. It wasn't a problem. All we needed was the cruise reservation number.

We have done the same thing a few times, and rented a car as the price was more reasonable.

We almost always rent a car. We use Avis but other agencies offer 1 way car rentals and have a shuttle to take you to the ship.
