DVC Special Member Offers

I am a new DVC member (well almost just waiting for the closing One more Week ) I have been reading a lot about DVC and at the member site it list several special member offers, what I am wondering is for the dining offers can you use your Connections meal vouchers along with the special discounts, ie: House Of Blues 15% off lunch or the 25% off Swan-Dolphin restaurants, etc.? This info will help in my planning for my first trip "Home" Thanks

I can't say for sure but I doubt you can combine discounts. I know you can't combine both the Disney Club and the Amex discount when making purchases. You have to pick one.

I don't know for certain but my guess is no. In the past there was the Food n Fun Card which in one of it's many forms had a dollar amount associated with it. You paid $50 and got $55 worth of meals per day. One of the questions I asked at the time was using my Disney Dining Experience 20% discount combined then paying with the Food n Fun monies. I was told know that both were a discount program and you could not combine discounts. I disagreed but didn't want to take the chance and so I never tried the program when it was in that form as the 20% DDE discount was better than the 10% FnF "discount". I'd look at this similarly and I suspect the official answer is no but I bet many restaurants would do it.

The Connections vouchers are specific about what is included - for example, the Quick &Casual variety includes an entree, side, desert and beverage. They also include tax and gratutity. I can't imagine how you could combine them with another discount for the same meal. For sure, the restaurant will not give you any cash back.

If you have several people in your party and you are asking if you pay for one or more meals with vouchers and then get the discount on the meals/items you pay cash for, I'm quite sure the answer is yes.
