Wondering if anyone has used the dvc skiing in Colorado? Was it hard to book? How were the accomodations?

I haven't, but would recommend if you're considering this and you're at least a level II that you consider Iron Blosam at Snowbird, Utah as well as CO. We've stayed there not with points and it's nice and Snowbird is an unbelievable resort. (The staff is a little unfriendly though and it's not 4 or5star if that's what you're looking for.)

I am not a DVC member - but I did grow up in CO, lived at a ski resort for a while & am familiar w/ several timeshares there (my retired parents own 1 wk. in Vail, 1 week in Beaver Creek & 1 in Breckenridge).

My favorite timeshare is Grand Timber Lodge in Breckenridge. The location & facilities are amazing. It is a new resort - the pool/hot tubs are great! Breck. is our favorite mountain & ski town on the front range. Not too big, not too small, lot's of restaurants , but still has it's original "mining town" feel. It is a relatively easy drive from Denver.

I don't know about any time-shares - but Snowmass/Aspen is our "regular" vacation now. It's childrens programs are second to none.

I love vacationing in Aspen but would choose to LIVE in Breck :)
