DVC - Seasonal Pass discounts?

We're waiting for ROFR decision on a resale to become DVC members (can hardly wait!)

We know there are DVC discounts on AP's and PAP's, but are there also discounts on Seasonal Passes?

We also want to get the DDE and are hoping that the Seasonal Pass will get us the discount on that.

The only DVC discount on tickets would be for the Annual Passes.

You can purchase DDE as either an AP holder or Florida Resident (I see from your signature that you reside in FL). I believe the AP price for DDE is a bit cheaper however.

Agreed. As Chuck is aware but some might not be, seasonal passes are the best deal going for many that qualify (FL residents). But at times having the AP is worth it. The only differences I can think of are the free parking for the AP and the extra times you can go. I know many that buy seasonal passes then only one AP. With seasonal passes you can get AP room discounts, shopping and dining discounts, even the DDE.

If you Click Here you will find the DIS's price list on the Florida Resident Seasonal Passes. My in-laws live in Florida, so we are familiar with the benefits and how they work, too. The big difference is the limitation on days that you can use the pass. I have pasted that info on blackout dates below from the DIS as well..hope this helps:

Florida Resident Seasonal Pass -
Entitles Florida residents to admission* to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot,Animal Kingdom and the Disney-MGM Studios Except activities/events separately priced. The following dates are excluded:

* June 9, 2007 - August 16, 2007
* December 22, 2007 - January 4, 2008

* March 15, 2008 - March 28, 2008

* June 7, 2008 - August 14, 2008

* December 21, 2008 - January 3, 2009

You are correct but the price is cheaper with a pass of some type.
