Is this event still sold out or is there additional tickets available?
Call a few times anyway. Some people cancel and you may be able to snag some last minute tickets.

I have the new ID card, but my wife has the old one. She has a reservation for Tues. Will she have difficulty getting in because of that? We'll be getting into SSR on Monday, can she get a new card then?If they do the same as with the MK events, there will be CMs with tablets that will look up your name and then issue the party specific wristbands. You will need your new Blue DVC Member ID card & Photo ID.

Did as recommended and work out wellHave your wife get the Ecard of the DVC member card. And order her new card for later. She'll need to sign on the the MS website to get it. https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/membership/membership-card/

Our Periscope handle is@Robb_Walker.
Thanks for posting this. I'll be following along with you. Will you be starting at 9?
We were there last night. It was a great event. Animal Kingdom is really amazing at night. Lots of character meet and greets, lots of snack tables like PBB mentioned. The main center was in Dino Land. They had a DJ dance party and had the most snack tables up there. I really enjoyed the Safari at night. Not too many animals to see but it was a slower version. Driver made many stops to try and get better viewing positions. We also opted not to do Kali. We got soaked earlier in the day so did not want a repeat. All the other rides were walk ons. Kids did EE twice in a row. Only complaint I had which we did make known was the game tickets they give out they were letting kids use multiple tickets in a row while lines were super long. There was a big group of 10 plus so the had over 20 game coupons and their kids held up the line as they played over and over for about 20 minutes. I suggested to staff they limit use to 1 or 2 per turn then need to move to another game of go to back of the line. It took our 2 kids 45 minutes to play 3 games. Other than that minor issue we had a super night!! Today is sleep in day!! DHS arrival at 11am after a much needed rest after a long night!!
So excited that Launchpad McQuack was there! I hope he's at every party!! Sounds like a fun time!We arrived at 6:30pm and they started letting people in shortly after. The line for the bracelets is off to the right.
We immediately went to ride the safari. They already had the elephants put away so we didn't see them. Safari was a walk on at 7pm. The gorilla trail was closed.
If you want to avoid the crowds stay away from Dinoland. It was very busy. We did have fun playing the free games and walked away with 4 stuffed dinosaurs. The game CM's were getting a workout for sure! The face paint station was open while we were there.
We met Launchpad McQUack with a very short wait. He was meeting across from the drums in Africa. We also met Mickey and MInnie with no wait (their normal place) and Chip and Dale (very long wait) in Dinoland. Donald, Daisy and Pluto were at the dance party in Dinoland.
We also skipped Kali. Rode Everest 3 times (walk on) and triceratops spin. Tough to be a bug and Primevil Whirl were also open. NO shows were open.
We left just after 10:30. Probably could have stayed another hour but my parents were tired.
