DVC Resort Services Fee?

I've been looking to rent DVC points as an alternative to paying rack rates at the DVC resorts. I've noticed 'resort services fee' and 'resort users fee' mentioned on some DVC resort listings on eBay and on timeshare exchange boards. If I am renting points for a stay, will I have to pay this fee to Disney, in addition to the amount I pay to the DVC owner whose points I'm renting? Thank you in advance for your help.

There are no "resort users fees" or "resort services fees" at any DVC resort. If you rent points from a reputable DVC member, the price you pay for the points is the final price. There should be no hidden fees payable to anyone, including the DVC resort.

You may want to check out the Rent/Trade Board here as an option rather than eBay.

DVC Rent/Trade Board

Interval International (II) exchanges into DVC resorts incur a service fee of $95. The listings referred to on Ebay and on timeshare exchange boards where a service fee is noted are exchanges and are not reservations made using DVC points by a member. Actually, those rentals are contrary to II policy (rental of exchanges is not permitted).

There are no taxes or additional resort fees on reservations made using DVC points. If an offer includes any fees, it was not made using DVC points.
