Hi,

In the past we usually arrive the weekend of Super Soap weekend in Nov/last weekend of Food & Wine then stay the next week. Love the little crowds at that time. Because of job restrictions I may not get time off at that time of year anymore. Will have to go during the academic calendar. How is the 3rd week of Dec for DVC reservation and park crowds?? I was looking at around Dec 14-21st that time frame.

Thanks for any help,

It's a lot better than anything after the 21st! :rotfl2:

We are going the 15th-23rd (the last 2 nights are still up in the air, not sure I want to be around the crowds) Was able to get the ressie in July. I did want a 2br BWV or BCV, ended up with a 1br BWV. Could have gotten the 2br at SSR but we wanted to be by Epcot for the holidays.

We've always gone this time frame, and love it but the parks and resorts definitely start to get more crowded as you get closer to the 21st.

You'll need to book that time 11 months out, likely day by day at all but OKW and SSR for on property resorts. You won't have much chance of changing to BCV/BWV or even VWL during that time in all likelihood. It remains to be seen where AKV will fall for this time of year.

We've been several times from around 12/10 thru 12/20.....depends on what days of week the latter part falls as to the crowds.....if 18th or so is a weekend you will have more crowds.....but for the most part crowd level is usually pretty good at that time. I do agree with above poster about booking DVC accomodations at the 11 month window. If you don't you're really taking your chances of being able to get all your dates in the type of accomodations you want.....not to say you won't get something, but, maybe not what you want.

That is what concerns me. We have been doing things consistantly for the last couple of years with little changes. Our DVC homes are BCV and BWV. We usually stay BCV in May and BWV in Nov. Would be disappointed not to BWV 2bdrm for that fall week. Such stress!!!

when talking about having to reserve rooms 11 months out....

my husband and I just decided the beginning of august to go Dec 7-15...believe it or not we got a 1 bedroom suite at ssr...we got all of our days but 3 but 2 days later i called back and they became available so I feel very lucky to have gotten a room for that many days
