DVC Reservation viewable on My Disney Vacation

I just checked and our Dec. ressies are not there. Maybe they are entered the closer you get to your check in date.

Chelle -- I made several reservations for next year in sequence -- one night at WDW; down to Vero; back to WDW. Started the process about 2 weeks ago. Only the first night is showing so far on the Disney site. So, I'm guessing it must take a week or two for them to enter the info.

Both our reservations are there - one for this summer and one for spring break 2009 that I just finished making 3 days ago.

In this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1810694 a renter saw her DVC ressie when she signed in to disney.com, so maybe if your renter signs in, she'll see it. Just warn her that an amount due might be showing & the confirmation # is different, so she doesn't freak out

I'm curious how they are tying a rented reservation to the renter's disneyworld account. Is it by phone number? I've never made a reservation for someone else. Does MS ask for a phone number for the primary name on the reservation?

I made a reservation for my Dad last December and I don't remember them asking for a phone number. I did have to give his name & address though....

I don't know how they would determing the "amount due" when there no way of them knowing the the "charge" was?? And my user id and password was the same as what I use to log into the DVC which surprised me since I've never really use the disneyworld.com site. It definately sounds as if they're trying to "merge" the two sites possibly for "on-line" transactions maybe???

Once you have a login for a disney website, it's good at all disney websites.

I was assuming they were using the rack rates for the resorts to determine the amount due?

My ressie for Nov. is there. Thanks to DVC I won't have to pay the almost $3000 it states I owe!!
My DS is 5 and he is listed at 3yrs. old. DD is 10 and it states her right age. No names for anyone except me, which is the name the ressie is under.

The amounts due aren't necessarily correct. Ours would be more than what it says we owe. We're in a BWV studio for 6 nights. $1645 wouldn't cover it - that's only $274 a night. So I have no idea how they're getting the numbers they're getting - or from where. Maybe we got a Bounceback and nobody told us?

We "owe" the same amount - $1645.32 for a studio at BWV for 6 nights. Rack rate would be $2193.75. The 1645.32 is exactly a 25% discount. How much is Bounceback?

I think DVC Bounceback would be 40%. Our amounts look more like maybe the "25% cash discount" that members get on villas. But it still all looks weird. I have no I dea what's going on. Where did the different confirmation numbers come from, and who/what assigned them? I'd bet they have a database communication problem.
