It does indeed, but the new resv. will have to be a cash only resv. NOT w/ DVC points...At least thats what Pete W. stated in the live video b4. and as long as the new one is for 2 nights/ with a 2 day base ticket...

Only DVC owners who had reservations during closure are being given the option to book this specific cash deal.

But yes, it can be booked by a DVC member under the same conditions as cash guests..ie. You pay

What happens to the owners points if it is rebooked through disney? What rates does disney use for the new reservation? We were originally staying at BWV in a 2 bedroom. TX

The points would be treated as a DVC cancellation. You would pay the full cash price for the free dining. Be sure to sit down, cash for a 2 bedroom at BWV is around $1500 a night.

When they say DVC members can participate, they simply mean that you qualify to book it as a cash guest because you had a reservation.

This is not a special open to the general public. DVC members can always book specials with Disney, but not With their membership.

This is no different. You are not using your membership in any way.
