DVC Reservation on Cash

I have a trip booked for the end of the month. I was a couple points short, so 1 night in the middle of my stay is booked on cash (5/31). I booked through DVC, so I was told all is linked, and I won't have to check-out/check-in.

AP discounts were just released, and this would save me about $130 on my cash night. I checked, and the 2 bedroom at BCV is available for 5/31 on this discount.

My question is - if I book on this discount and cancel my DVC cash night, would I then have to check-out and check-back in? As much as I'd like to save some $, it's not worth the hastle of checking out.

Never mind. I was reading more threads, and decided to call and see if DVC discount was available (it was not originally when I booked). I got the DVC cash discount, so now I'm saving more than $200!!!! plus my reservations are linked.

This is great. What to spend my savings on????
