DVC Resale and Cruising

Hello everyone!

We purchased DVC Resale in 2019 (after all of the cruise perks were taken away). I was wondering if we still get the swag that DVC members get when going on a cruise? We are going on our first Disney Cruise as members in August. My DVC member number is attached to my Disney Account. Will they know we are DVC or is these perks that only Direct Members get?

You sure do! We were on the Wish last September and when we arrived at our stateroom, there was a DVC magnet attached to the door and DVC lanyards hanging where they now place your key cards. We also dropped by the DVC desk daily and thought we would be treated differently since we are resale members - they couldn't be nicer and told us to come back every day for freebies. There were pins, luggage tags, etc. We did end up buying 25 pts direct on board to give us a little more wiggle room but that was at the end of our cruise so that didn't impact how they treated us at all.
