DVC resale add-on question

We are looking to add-on points, yea!

We currently have SSR with a June UY. If someone is offering a resale for 300 points, are they looking for a buyer for all 300 points, or can you make an offer for, say, 100 points?

And if you buy a resale with the same use year, will DVC combine the points into a single account for you -- original 350 + the new 100 points to mix and match? What if they have different UYs? I know that we'll have different home resorts, but we often plan trips less than 7 months out.

We'd love to add HH points, but can't see paying DVC $92 a point at this time when the resale seems to be a better value.

The contract can not be split.

With the same UY your original member number will have suffix added like 1234.01 Each purchase is separate. You can only make 11 month ressies at the resort where the points are. If you have different UY you will get a new Member number for that UY.You can use different UY contracts at the same resort to make ressies at the appropriate times. The UY affects when your points are allotted not when you can use them.

I was afraid that the contracts couldn't be split. We just want 150 HH points ( okay, I WANT more, but can buy 150)
