DVC rental questions

So, I am sure this has been addressed before, forgive me I didn't see it on the first couple of pages....

When renting from DVC owners I know you can add dining (and you have to pay in full) and they will add I to your key to the world, but what about park tickets?

If you buy throug Dis I know they can add it to your key to the world, but I read somewhere if you buy them offsite they can still add them to your key.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I am all about saving $ ... But I am also about simplicity, especially for my family who I am booking for who aren't the most Dis savy, which is why I am so obsessed with everything being linked to the key. Nice and easy.

Any insight would be very appreciated.

You can buy them separate and they will add them to your keys when you check-in. The member cannot arrange for it in advance.

We have rented from DVC members for our last five vacations (including our upcoming one) and have loved the deluxe staying at moderate prices!

I subscribed to the Mousesavers newsletter and use that to get the discounted Undercover Tourist rate for tickets. UT has always been absolutely outstanding, service-wise, and I highly recommend them. They ship for free, or you can pay extra to have them within a couple of days. I always order with plenty of time to spare and have found them to be very prompt. Your tickets arrive in a plain envelope with a return address that wouldn't be easy to identify by anyone who hasn't ordered from them. I like that it isn't obvious that there's a grand worth of tickets in the mailbox!!

When you check in at your DVC resort, you can have your tickets purchased through UT added to your KTTW. The tickets you receive from UT are the exact ones you'd receive from Disney anyway, so there really is no issue. Most of the time, you will need to go to the concierge to have them put on your keys, but it's no big deal. Check in, move on over to the concierge, head to your room, and off to the magic! Easy-peasy!!

depends upon your state.

UT is definitely lower than Al AAA tickets.
