DVC RCI and Renting questions

My apologies if this covered elsewhere.

We are visiting the Disneyland Resort in September. Our family has a lot of RCI Weeks credit and we have made a request through them for a 2-bedroom Villa at the GCH. I am extremely doubtful that this will request will bear fruit.

I am also considering making a request through an agency such as DVCRequest.com for a shorter number of days mid-week for the same period.

My questions are:

1. What are the chances of the RCI request being successful?

2. If by some miracle the DVCRequest comes through AND we subsequently find we are successful with the RCI request for the same period, can the shorter booking be "sub-let" to another party, perhaps through this forum?

I honestly have no idea, but based on the very small size of the resort, I think it would be difficult.

Others with direct experience exchanging RCI into VGC would be able to give you much better guidance.

That is really between you and DVCRequest. Any transaction with them is subject to their policies -- NOT what anyone here on the DIS thinks.

You need to check with them, and I'd be very careful to stick very strictly to their terms. Don't create an unnecessary problem for yourself...and them.

I'd say the chances of success for that time and resort are extremely low.
